Here's a thread that Blackmoon never started!
If you had the opportunity to delete any tiresome, stupid, trendoid words or phrases from the language that you couldn't stand, which ones would you delete? You know, the words or phrases that act upon you like nails scratching against a blackboard.
I would start with the word 'Diva'. It's used far too much to describe just any and all prima donna women, when it's not being used to describe Elton John.
I'd also get rid of the term, "at the end of the day". During the summer, I heard some dopey sports marketing consultant use that phrase twenty-eight times in an interview on CNN. It only showed him to be a dork.
So, which ones would YOU get rid of?
