ANNOYING

I'm not bothered if it's bumping a thread to continue on with a topic - however I do get annoyed by people who bump threads from 2006 to say "the YouTube link isn't working".
That annoys me. Clips barely stick around on YouTube for 6 weeks, never mind 8 years
 
Unless someone does it to resurrect a tired old argument that most of the participants would probably rather forget about, I don't see anything wrong with it.

However, the people who are annoyed by this are not alone. This seems to be a pet peeve on some of the other boards I've been to during my time on the Internet.

Also, I have a slight suspicion that someone is going to bump this thread a few years from now just to be a smart aleck.
 
It bothers me when someone bumps a ten year old post. It bothers me when someone bumps a five year old post. It bothers me when someone bumps a one year old post. It bothers me when some responds to a post. It bothers me when someone starts a post. It bothers me when.........
