Any Bentley Little Fans Out There?

I've read two of his books now: The Mailman and The Vanishing.

In The Mailman, there is really only one scene which scared me. As for The Vanishing...well, I think I've been traumatized it's sooooo frightening. All of his books have to deal with the supernatural, so you could say that that's right up my alley.

"Calling the mothership...."

Any thoughts?

Yeah I am. I'm reading The Academy right now in fact. I read all of his older stuff like The Ignored and Dominion but I have to catch up with the books he wrote in the last couple of years. His stuff is very readable and he always paints a gruesome picture in your head.

I love Bentley Little. The man is soooooooo twisted. My favorites are his book of short stories called The Collection, and his novels The Store and The Association. You know he's gotta be warped when Stephen King says he's one of the scariest horror authors he's ever read.

First book I read was "House". It flowed like silk. "Resort" is really great.
"The Store" is going to be made into a movie next year.
"Death Instinct" super scary. One of his books that actually could happen.
Some of the sex scenes he writes are intense and sometimes disturbing.
