any eagle scouts here?

i finally had my ceremony tonight and i am oficially now an eagle scout. it was fun. my whole family and all my friends were there. my mom got up to start talking about me but she started to cry. so i am asking if there are any eagle scouts or former scouts or people who are still in scouts out there.

I was in scouts for two years... and i hated it. I used to share a tent with a kid who sleepwalked and wet his bed. But congratulations, eagle is a huge acheivement! 😎

Congrats, thefeatheroom95! That's quite an accomplishment. Drew's nephew was just elevated to eagle this past fall. It's an impressive ceremony for an impressive achievement. Where those colors proudly. You've obviously earned them. Just remeber that oath you took and it will inspire you to further successes.

Congrats on your new rank. I am also an Eagle Scout. I earned my rank about 2 years ago. It's definitely an achievement to be proud of. Don't ever let anyone knock it.

Hey, congrats on making Eagle...

What did you do for your Eagle project? (They still make you do one, right?)

I was in Boy Scouts for like three years, but I never made it past First Class....(my troop had the kind of kids and atmosphere that sitcoms are made of...)

Anyway, here's a cool story of what one kid did for his eagle project...(not from my Troop!)...

Anyone who knows the the state of New Hampshire I'm sure is familiar with the old man in the mountains...the giant face on the mountain side....(man made or not? um...lil' help?)

Anyway, for the kid's project, he took the plaque that sits at the base of the mountain, and made a new one...in braille. He translated it and everything and had it made and posted it there. Pretty cool huh?

Thanks strokeofgenius, ticklingduo, shaggy, and carthoris. Yes we still had to do the eagle project. I wanted to do something that everyone would have fun at, so we did a luggage drive to benefit the women's crisis center.
