Any NHRA fans on the board?

I have recently begun to follow drag racing, leaving the world of NASCAR behind.

These NHRA vehicles are super fast and awesome looking.

I am also thinking of attending a race event this summer.

Does anyone else share this interest?

Yeah I follow it, but it was lots more fun before throwing an extra $90,000 at a racecar would get you a thousandth of a second off your ET.

John Force builds his cars about 3 miles down the road here in Yorba Linda. He used to crack walls in the houses around here testing his engines before the city council told him to knock it off.

If I stumble across an NHRA event on TV I'll watch it enraptured, but don't really hunt for them any more.
