anybody else hate this thing called "love"

I know, you're right of course it's just these holidays this year get me down. I also lost my father along with my girlfriend so you have to factor that in. Sometimes lately i'm charming, smooth yet sincere when talking to girls and other times I just feel lost.

Well I'm sorry to hear about your father-my mother's been gone 11 years and it might as well happened yesterday. I also agree that holidays basically suck-if I didn't have children, I'd sleep through them!

Just get up and keep moving forward. Almost anything is better than grieving over the living. Before you know it, you'll be posting about your new love someday. Personally I hope it's sooner than later

I feel the same way most of the time, except I've never been in a relationship, not even a single date. And getting over someone is very difficult indeed...

I have a plan. How about I wait awhile, then send her a message on myspace saying something like 'i just realized your on my friend list and i have no idea who you are' and hopefully that would snowball from there.

Nah! The courts cut down on on the "stalker" verdict. It was getting to be everyone who said hello to a girl was being convicted as one and they couldn't keep handing out sentences.

Hopefully the title of this thread isnt too out there.

I'm attracted to someone at my school(college), but have idea on how to approach her, but havent spoke or acknowledged ones existence yet, and I dont know what to do. I'm sure everyone has heard of "love at first site", well this is more like "interested at first site." I hope that makes sense to everyone, thats the best I can explain it.

The easiest thing, for me, to do is talk to her online first through facebook.com or myspace or something, but thats such a loser thing to do. I know I'll get too nervous if I just walk up to her and start talking and make an ass out of myself. Talking to girls was never easy for me, I've had it rough...you know that guy in the movies that cant talk to girls and makes a fool out of himself...thats me...

anybody got an idea? 🙁

Dude, just go up to her. You can think of some bullshit excuse like asking her if she wants to do a study session for finals or something if that would make you feel better. If you get shot down, you get shot down. It's happened to all of us at some point or another.
