anyone else experincing any problems with yahoo tonight?

i have multiple email addresses on yahoo and yahoo messenger. i can get into my main email account but not the one i normallly choose to use, also my yahoo messenger is down but my msn messenger is working fine. anyone else having this trouble? it happened around five est today thanks i would like to know if anyone else is having this problem.

I have no problem accessing the Yahoo! website or my e-mail address there. But since I have only one e-mail, and I don't use the messenger service, my situation is different. Have you tried e-mailing their technical support, isabeau? Maybe someone who works there can help you out.

What version of Yahoo Messanger are you using? Ever since I've updated to the newest version (Yahoo 7.0 with voice), I've had a horrible time with Yahoo Messanger freezing on me or not being able to connect at all. Its working fine for me at the moment tho. I wish I could revert back to an older version.

yes i have yahoo with voice wont connect tonight went poof right in the middle of a conversation however i am having trouble getting my alternative email account also wont show up

Mine always goes *poof* in the middle of a conversation. Just did it again to me a few minutes ago. I really wish there was someway I could undo this update.

Uninstall v7.0, reboot, then install v6.0, (preferably) reboot again, and it should work fine.

I wasn't able to get into Yahoo Greetings this morning (10/29). The email's been very very slow. Yahoo's sucked lately.

mine works fine now however when i logged on this morning yahoo messenger didnt immediately log on i had to hit it and connect which i usually dont have to do hmmm

I'm glad I could be of help 🙂 I still use the very old Yahoo IM v5.6 because it's is the only version that works properly on my aging laptop.
