Like everyone else, I hate pop up ads. One came up though that was rather interesting. We've all seen ads for dating sites pop up on our screen, this one had and eye popping title though, 'Tickle' by Emode. It looks as though this was an already established site but decided to change their name.

Go to http://www.emode.com to see what i'm talking about. It doesn't have anything to do with tickling really, but the word 'Tickle' is all over the place so it at leasts puts the notion in ones head when they see it.

I don't know if this thread should've been put in the Mainstream section or not. If so, I apologize.

I've seen these too - at first I thought I was getting SpyWared and hit with pop-ups they knew I'd be interested in! Then it said something about "America's Social Network" or some such.

Personally, anything that decides "Tickle" should be representative of social interaction is okay in my book 😀

Maybe one of our Venerable mods could offer us some insight into whether this is spyware or not...? Hey, RAY!!😛
