I know that I likely speak for a very small portion of people on here, as well as guys anywhere, but I am absolutely thrilled that all football seasons (College and NFL) are nearing the end. From early August through January of almost every year it's nothing but talk of football where I live because of the Pats being about 20 minutes from my hometown. Pats aside, you turn on the television on a Saturday between the months of September and early December and you find college football on about 50 different channels. On Sundays you likely have nothing to do if you're not into football because all of the other people you know are pounding down beers and junk food while screaming at the television all afternoon and night. Mondays you likely can't avoid listening to the people at work talk about the games over the weekend, or the game ahead the upcoming week. You don't understand the obsession others have with the game and you continue to have no interest in it yourself, but believe me, you're NOT alone.
With there being just one more game left this season I can't help but feel excited to be able to flip on Sports Center and not see 45 minutes of an hour segment of ESPN obsessing over the games coming up on the weekend. Anyone else out there feel the same way?
