If I hear one more person say "bucket list" I shall grab a 2X4 and beat them about the head and shoulders. No reasonable jury could possibly convict me of assault and battery. :evilha:

and we all love u

Yeah, right. 😛 I'm serious about "bucket list" however. Just like "Paradigm Shift" and "Thinking Outside the Box." Something like that catches on and is repeated ad nauseum.

well, my intentions on clicking this thread was to simply type

BUCKET LIST

HOWEVER, i see people have beat me to it 🙂

Then in sports the tired cliches...putting on a clinic, imposing their will, and sorry Chris Berman I do not want to hear 'he could GO ALL THE WAY!' it stopped being funny about 15 years ago. Please stop.

See, I didn't even say BL:beathorse:

List-O-Bucket!

Two more miscreants added to my list. :disgust:

Thank you. And equating a sporting event with "Going to War"? It sickens me frankly. I'm so glad I lost intrest in sports years ago, before that phrase came along..

Yes, I agree. I love sports but its insulting to the men and women who serve our country. Almost making light of it. :sowrong:

I don't mind hearing the word "bucket." It rhymes with fuck it. 😀

Ok ok, seriously though? Call it what ya wish but if it gets people to actually try things and do things they want in life, I'm all for it. 😛

Who are these smiley faced wankers that think that a rational thinking human can find a higher purpose through some trite buzz phrase .Im still recovering from being told to "Go for it" ad naseum in the 80's

Oh, it will go away like "gravitas", "end of the day", "Yadda yadda", and "peyote and cheap whiskey"................It's on the dictionary's bucket list.

List of buckets

Over-reliance on tiresome, worn-out cliches indicates a distinct lack of intelligence. I remember one moron political analyst in particular, on CNN one night, who said the phrase 'at the end of the day' nineteen times within the length of his discourse.

So, yes, Bugadoodle, I understand.

I think that electrodes should be tied to an analyst's sensitive points, and every time they use one of their phrases, BOOM! Especially effective when their face is in one of the stupid Brady Bunch boxes on the screen, with seven other people. You've got the zap going through after he or she says some cliche, and the other people are looking on...
