Tickling can easily include the light touch contact that you describe. Like all physical sensations tickling has a range that goes from barely there, to intense.
Further different sorts of touch have parts that overlap, so part of tickling might read the same to you as pleasurable sexual stimulation and so forth.
As we get older our bodies change, as do our sexualities. This leads us to liking new things, new ways of getting old things, and so forth. Very natural and healthy. We are not static, forever the same, and it's always good to pick up new likes and interests and integrate them with those we've held for long times.
