Someone mentioned something about a Red Door Dungeon in America...I thought that these were outlawed as a form of prostitution. Is it legal or what? I'm very confused. XD

Yes for the most part they are legal. They have guidelines they must follow though. These vary from state to state. Basically they define what is and is not considered to be prostitution.

First, you need to know which sort of "dungeon" you're talking about. There are at least two, and they have different legal issues.

The first sort is sometimes called a "playspace." It's essentially a membership club, where members can attend parties. The club does not provide play-partners to attendees: you bring a date or you meet someone there (and if you're a single guy, I recommend the former). These places are generally OK these days, but they may have trouble with zoning when they go to set up, and if a conservative comes to power in local government he or she may try to make trouble by way of intrusive building inspections and so on.

The second sort of dungeon is a play-for-pay establishment, with professional tops and bottoms on staff. These tend to skate the edge of the law. They provide services that might broadly be considered "sexual," but they stop short of genital contact and so usually manage to avoid prostitution charges. Even so local authorities may pay very close attention to them.

sorry

maybe dungeon is the wrong word to use it was just some harmless fun and i got a chance to act out a couple harmless fetishes no big thing nobody got hurt yes i payed a few bucks for some fun the people were proffessional very nice and accommodating they enjoy tickling me maybe some people are into tickling and dont even know

NY: Yes. Legal with stipulations. No body fluid exchange, if you catch my drift. No sexual intercourse. No "prostitution". There is a door cover charge to all who enter usually.
Examples are Paddles and The Vault.

The dungeon I visited last night has been around for some time now. It`s a wonderful place to frequent! There`s NOTHING illegal about it.
