Are guys more ticklish than girls?

I was checking out some of the excellent Tickle Abuse videos and it struck me how insanely ticklish the guys are. Is this the best kept secret in tickling? That guys are more ticklish than girls? It makes sense in a way, because if you are a fairly strong guy, you may have never been tickled much at all. When you actually feel that sensation it is something totally new and very intense. Do any of you who have been around both ticklish guys and girls have any thoughts?
 
ITT: Girls try to make themselves feel superior by convincing themselves guys are more ticklish. 😛 (couldn't resist)

But seriously, no. Simply no. While I don't pay much attention to these, from what I know these same clips have the women being more aggressive as well. Also guys have heavier voices and such.

Well guys are also taught to be more gentle with women. Women are taught no such thing with dealing with guys. However this is all a moot point. I could say "In the tickling I've seen on youtube, the girls are generally much more ticklish". Does that make it true? Eh.

Also, keep in mind that most males will say and do whatever they think females want if they think it'll get them laid. XD
 
I hope Tickle Abuse or one of the other producers who do both male and female videos will weigh in. I know I have heard him say that more than half of the models that turn up are not ticklish on cam. Is the percentage higher or lower with guys and girls or the same?

No.

I was short-handing that it's basically non-applicable. Everyone is different and everyone responds to being tickled differently.
 
I think it depends on which part of the body we're talking about. From my experience, it seems that guys are generally more ticklish on their penis/testicles than women are, while women are generally more ticklish on their breasts and around the vagina than men are.

Of course as Crystal said, everybody is unique in their reaction. I suppose in one sense this question is like asking, "are people that are 5'7'' more ticklish than people that are 5'8''. But take whatever percentage of the population is ticklish. Maybe 50%? Is that number substantially higher for either guys or girls? What about that fun little segment of the population that is "hyper-ticklsih"? Is that higher in one gender or the other?

The question just came to me because I had assumed (in a rather sexist manner in retrospect) that girls were more ticklish than guys and that more girls were ticklish than guys.

i think its an individual thing too u cant generalise it. i know girls who aint really ticklish at all and at the same time i know girls who off the wall ticklish. iv seen male friends being tickled and show no response and yet if you tickle me i might explode, who knows???

90% of the time, yes. And less likely to admit it....
 
I see we do have a vote for guys being more ticklish from a very well established member of the Forum.

But I can think of a number of scenarios where the guy just may be forced to admit it.

She's also heavily biased. No gender, race, height, whatever is more ticklish. Period. But then I'm gonna say girls are definitely more ticklish just to counter act that. And I'm established enough. So HA!:yarr:

That is a crock. I co-host the Michigan Gathering with Sadira and Sadira comes away with bruises everytime. A very well known member of this community constantly along with others bruise her. Guys aren't more gentle. In fact, guys act like the harder they tickle the more laughter they get.

By the way, Sadira isn't the ONLY one who is bruised after these parties. It happens ALL the time. And I have watched guys getting tickled at these parties ( I don't watch clips ) and the GUYS are DEFINATELY more ticklish than the ladies. I could name names but I am not like that. But guys SCREAM their safewords faster than ladies do. One guy had couldn't remember his safeword 39 seconds into his session. And their is NO SEX at our parties so that is NOT a motivation here.

Well OBVIOUSLY it doesn't apply ALL of the time. I mean otherwise you wouldn't hear so much about domestic abuse. I was talking about in terms of foreplay. But if you REALLY want to believe guys are more ticklish then go ahead, but just know that personal experience means nothing, especially when that experience is tainted by bias. Why do you think I don't seriously try and claim women are more ticklish? Because they aren't. Neither are men. That's how it is.

I agree with Crystal and Aimee... it's impossible to generalize things like this. Everyone reacts differently; it's an individual thing, not a gender/race/sexuality thing.



Even more importantly, I agree with JS, because he used a Kirby.
 
I don´t like to generalize things, but I think in general, girls are more ticklish than guys. It´s just...yeah. xD
