They exist out there. I know one, still, and knew others before. I have friends there who've played. Also know someone from there that sounds incredibly female to friends of mine from here. Friends I know personally, IRL.
You're not alone. Women are far more cautious, and until men are far better behaved, that makes sense.
Try arranging for meetups in large heavily-populated areas that have several entrances and exits. Do what it takes to allow them easy and safe arrival and departure. Make it very easy for them, and you stand a far better chance of meeting them. Many of them.
