Are Vegetarians more ticklish?

They could be, considering they're considerably weaker than us normal people. Ten bucks says if you tried to down strained BROTH of some kind of meat, your system would throw a fit. 😛

ticklishness does not have anything to do with what you eat or don't eat. it comes down to your family history as far as tickling goes and neurology and also how ticklish that person is.

Pamela Anderson is a vegetarian, and she didn't seem overly ticklish.

I know that the feeding is very important in our health, but that affects to such degree our sense of the tact, I don't see that very probable.

Vegetarians have always seemed really out there to me, in a looney way

There is, however, no real correlation of any kind between the food and ticklishness

It is said to be, rather, a matter of trust the person has to be engaged in such activity

And when engaged, the less (physical) trust involved, the greater the muscle and nerve tension and the greater the defense that is put up (due to the body's natural, physiological tendency to defend itself upon instinct), thus, causing a "ticklish" reaction

As with other behavioral situations, this ticklishness level is subject to extinction as the trust starts to build up

Don't confuse this with a trust formed by marriage or a relationship, but those are permissible extraneous variables

Which is why voluntary or consenting models don't flail around as much unless they are very reluctant participants who were brought by a friend

I have to comment on this. Two people said things in this post that I just can't ignore.

a)Vegetarians are not weaker then us. I don't know what kind of logic you got that from, but, if you eat a healthy diet whether or not it consists of meat, you can be strong. My best friend is a vegetarian and a kickboxer. Please look up things like that before you say it.

b)Vegetarians have always seemed really out there to me, in a looney way

You're posting on a message board about a fetish that barely anyone else in this nation has. Do you know how many people would look at this board and make fun of you, or tell you how "Out there" you are? You should learn to be a little more open minded, especially considering I bet you there are more vegetarians out there then there are people with our fetish. Don't ever say anything like that again, kid.

There, now i'm done. back to my world of silence.

Barely anyone in this nation has? Um... go check the number of people who are members of this forum alone. And that BARELY begins to give you a taste of how many people there are. As for the vegan subject... I've heard vegan rhetoric before, so in my experiences they have seemed pretty looney. I'm sure there's down to earth ones out there, but most of the ones I've met... they seem a little... nuts about the subject.

It was a comment in jest, you looney, good grief Charlie Brown

However I don't really care if anyone makes fun of me whether or not I have any kind of fetish because that's life and there are worse things to worry about than being made fun of

But since I'm pursuing a career within the field of psychology I wouldn't mind seriously debating the topic of vegans and vegetarians and their "looney"-ness (sic)

Responding to two different people here, so...ya...
Yes. over 10,000 people on this forum. How many of them actually post? How many of them looked once and never return, how many of them actually have the fetish and how many are just exploring. That's a tough question. If you look at this site and use it as a judge as to how many people have our fetish, then you really don't know how to take an accurate poll of our nation. Vegetarians and Vegans are different, by the way. Although neither of them are "looney".
If it was a joke, then haha, but...it's still sad that anyone would say something like that on a site that is susposed to be safe place for people to be different. And, you go to a vegan and say "Hey, I jack off to people tickling each other" annnd...they might blink a few times. Hopefully they wouldn't be childish and crack a joke about it, like you guys do.

I'm done ranting

Well actually I tried that just a while ago and the person looked at me funny and asked me why I told him that and I told him that it was just to see how he would react but I am known for blurting out weird things for no reason so I guess I have a buffer

I like to think that making fun of people is more safe than me tossing someone's head into a meat grinder

The whole tickling thing itself is kind of childish, as it is a fixation, and of course illicits childish reactions either way or involves at least some form of momentary regression, and Freud suggests fixations are rooted in problems occurring in the early psychosexual developmental period between the ages of 0 to 6

So no offense, but there is a hypocrisy in saying making fun of a childish thing is childish

First of all, Freud rocks. Lol, just had to say...I totally agree with his theory on how people devolop a foot fetish..heh, that has nothing to do with this.

is tickling childish? in ways, Yes. It all depends on how you look at it though. Tickling can be a lot of things, but...to the people on this forum (who should all be over 18) tickling is obviously a very serious and not childish subject. So, making fun of someone who takes tickling as a serious thing would be rather childish. There isn't really any hypocrisy in that, because...ya...tickling isn't always a childish thing.

So, now that i've beaten down your other arguements, have anything else to say?

Yes

A kid takes video games seriously

Plus: I am awesome

That is all

hah, and even video games can be serious for certian adults. Hell, it's a multi-billion dollar business. People devote their lives to making the best video games possible...how did video games even get brought up?

The point is, you should learn to respect other people. And since you don't know how to do that, I won't respect you.

That's cool because I'm from Team No Respect anyway, and we will have to settle with agreeing to disagree

Nevermind the mad face icon I used, because that's just me being facetious, which is a quality that never travels well online

why is this thread even going on still?

simple words that anybody can understand and read. vegetarians are NO LESS or NO MORE ticklish then just regular everyday people. being a vegetarian won't make you more or less ticklish! it just comes down to neurology and level of ticklishness of the person over all.

that simple 😀 nothing more to ponder over or fight over

We shouldn't be arguin' kids.

Just be nice and have fun.

So Vegans and Herbivores are weird. So am I? I eat meat all the time, and I'm looney about it.

The only thing I have to say on this subject matter is, For every animal you don't eat, i'll eat 3.

Other than that, I don't believe it has any relevance to ticklishness.

Pure Ownage

Well...

Actually, vegans and vegetarians would be equally ticklish or not ticklish as meat eaters as it is as said before a neurogical thing. Secondly Vegans and Vegetarians are not weaker than meat eaters - I lift weights, I have been Vegetarian for 10 years as it is against my religion to eat meat (and because animal are so cute:redface: ).
As long as a person has a balanced diet consisting of protein for muscle, simple sugars for immediate energy, carbs for sustained energy (and fibre to crap alot😉) they would have the same strength as a carnivore.

That said if there are girls who are vegan and vegetarian and want to test this theory, gimme a call :super_hap

Nuts or passionate? They are only acting upon what they believe is right. Albiet, sometimes they go to extremes, but name a group that hasn't.
