Well, for me, it's like this.
1. First the easy part. Ethnicity and skin complexion are no barriers for me. I truly get bored in settings where everyone looks alike.
2. Next...I'm basically a ler, but I'm lee-curious. So yes, I certainly want to try out being tickled, see how my endurance holds up to it.
3. For intimacy, I'm strictly heterosexual, and I would certainly like to tickle and be tickled by women. However, I wouldn't rule out some man-to-man. For tickling, we're talking. (Let me add that for social conversation, I often prefer gay men to straight.)
4. I do prefer tickling partners to be in my age bracket or younger. And I'm 40. Actually, I think my age maximum would be 50.
