You can't really go by what the cover shows on our stuff, especially since we stopped doing "Action" covers for every issue. Some people were trying to get us to do certain scenes for covers, and it wasn't hard to understand they just wanted a free pinup. The drawback is I think some fans feel if we DON'T do an action cover, there won't be anything good inside. I came from a mainstream comics background, so I like doing concept covers sometimes.
We try to cram as much action into the interior pages as we possibly can. We're all about setting up a tickling scene, and not about trying to work out a large plot. Although the first arc of VU ran ten issues and covered a lot of ground story wise, it has more than one plot flaw.
Lots of good tickling though
With the new format for both the Time Travel book and the Pulp Tickles line Dr. Dave and I do, we're releasing 5 pages at a time, so it pretty much has to be mostly action or what I like to call tickle lovers cheesecake such as toe nail painting etc.
For instance, the upcoming Randi Rocket story starts out with a toe nail painting scene that works its way into a tickle fight. I should be starting the color on that one this coming week.
All in all it's impossible to put everyone's favorite type of scene in every book. You CAN always count on us to give you tons of action. We produce what we like, and we like seeing girls get tickled.
Keep the faith, and thanks always for the support.
