In preparation for understanding traffic signs in Boston, do you know that they mean by a "rotary"?

That is fine, but in Massachusetts when you see "rotary" on a traffic sign, that means there is what I would call a traffic circle coming up in the road ahead.
Massachusetts drivers, in my experience, approach traffic circles at a high rate of speed, presuming that a gap will open for them when they reach it. 😱
