Actually the first person I started talking to on here was Myriads. I emailed him, asking for help on how to do something, and then we started talking regularly. I still do talk him occasionally. He still owes me an email. :Grrr: 😀

Awww, that's awesome! 🙂 I've never really talked with him, but he's always been super helpful when called upon 🙂

Would love to BUT that'll have to wait. My goal is to go to Bella's Birthday Bash next year. I figure a smaller gathering would be a good starting point for me before going to the granddaddy of all gatherings: NEST. I've started to save up money so I'll be able to go next year, even though I know I'm going to be pwned by natural and slacker. :scared:

That's a good plan 🙂 The thought of a huge gathering is rather intimidating to be honest... never been to one myself yet. Munches are a good start too if you can get to a few 🙂

Are you near anywhere where munches take place?

There are munches in Minnesota, but they are more BDSM related so yeah. :paranoia:

Most of the munches I hear about require traveling on my part. The closest ones I've heard of have been in Michigan. 😱 Still quite a ways away. 🙁
 
That's too bad 🙁 Michigan is definitely a trek from Minnesota! 😱 I wouldn't be comfortable at bdsm munches either.

It snowed twice in October, but nothing so far. We've had a really weird autumn. October was wet and nasty, which was hell on the farmers trying to get their crops out of the fields. November so far has been warm and lovely. The way it's going I don't think we'll see any decent snowfalls until Christmas. 🙁 I really don't want a brown Christmas. 🙁
