Ask Taryn a question!

Hey, I am tired but great overall, how are you??

Yes I have a pretty good tan... I will have to post some pics soon! But I actually didn't spend as much time in the sun as I usually would have, I was sick for the first 4 days and stayed in the condo all day :couch:

I'm doing okay. That sucks you were sick for so long! What are you doing for halloween?

Just okay??? That sounds blah!

I don't know what I'm doing yet for Halloween, can't believe it is coming up so fast. Hopefully I will be going to a fun party and having some drinks. I love seeing everyone else in costume. And I have no idea what I am going to be this year... only a month away I better get with it!

WELCOME BACK!

:wavingguy ALOHA:blowkiss: I'll be asking a lot of questions about your Hawaii trip. How many exotic drinks did you have?

What's your favorite season? (as in Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring.....as opposed to "Rabbit Season", "Duck Season", "baseball season", etc.....) 🙂

How long were you air flights to and from Hawaii?

Oh jeez, don't get me started they were sooo long!! :banghead:

On the way there, it was 5.5 hours of flying time to LAX. Then another 5.5 hours to Maui. So with boarding and landing time I would say I was in a plane for about 13 hours total.

On the way back my flight leaving Maui was delayed which caused me to miss my connecting flight in LA. Then they wanted to fly me all the way to Georgia then back up to Detroit which would have been 3 extra hours in a plane. Luckily (after waiting in LAX for over 6 hours) I was able to talk my way into a nonstop to Detroit, which was only 4.5 hours of flying (tailwinds)

Do you get the opportunity to "dress up" very often?

Well, I have to dress business 5 days a week for work. Which would be a suit, or skirt and jacket, or when I don't have meeting I can wear dress slacks or nice jeans and a dressy top. But as far as really dressing up and going out, I hardly ever do!

Austria (not to be confused with Australia)

LOL...I had a friend in college from Austria....as he put it "Nothing pisses an austrian off more, than when an american shows up asking where all the kangaroo are....."

Why Austria?

Also, favorite Halloween costumer either from the past or one you'd like to wear someday?

Have you heard about the flights to Australia? :yowzer: I thought that you would depart from Oahu?

I visited Austria with my parents when I was about six. It was a wonderful memory from my childhood. I have a German and French background and I remember having an awesome German nanny while I was there. There are so many things I remember loving, even from a young age. The architecture, people, castles in the countryside, art.

As for Halloween, my favorite costume in the past was when I was a sexy woman police officer. I had a night stick, handcuffs, and of course the awesome cop hat. I loved it!!

I can't even begin to imagine how great an experience that must have been for you.

I've been only been overseas twice, both of them to Europe. I thoroughly enjoyed France and not just becuase I'm a bread-junkie, either.

Good thing you're not a 'ler or someone would have been in trouble with the handucffs. 🙂 There were two costume parties in college I went to dressed in Leiderhosen (sp?)....still my favorite one of all time.

It sounds like you travel often. how many times a year would you say you travel on average? For fun not for business.
