I've noticed a fair amount of these videos popping up on youtube as of late.. i'm wondering if anyone else that has listened to any of these that wondered if they'd work for tickling also.. or better if anyone has tried it.

I'm a fan of ASMR videos for sure. Though I'm not quite sure what you mean when you ask if they'd work for tickling. Do you mean you wonder if Tickling would be a popular sub category or RP for ASMR videos?
If that's your question, yes I naturally wondered the same thing. I came to the conclusion that it would depend on the kind of tickling. For the more sexual/torturous type, I'd say no, it would not make for an effective ASMR video. Even if that's your favorite tickling method, ASMR is usually about getting you into a relaxed state of mind, and I can't imagine the thought of being strapped down to a table about to be tickled will get one there. Plus ASMR is not really intended to be overtly sexual. Adding a kink into the mix might be something many ASMR artists would be uncomfortable with
I do, however, think it could work for more playful tickling. I'm sure some of the more creative artists could find a way to incorporate light tickling or poking into their videos. Maybe sneaking some pokes or light scratches in during a massage RP or maybe they accidentally tickle you during a physical exam? Most likely finding subtle ways to drop it into videos would be far more effective than dedicating an entire video to tickling.

I love asmr videos! They usually just give me the good tinglies and put me to sleep with crazy dreams though. Adding tickling somehow sounds like a fun idea. I agree with the previous post of adding into an examine or hair washing video. Maybe even someone just whispering about tickling someone else would do the trick. I think you should make some requests on our behalf 🙂
ASMR videos are videos that attempt to provide the sensation called "ASMR," that tingling sensation you get when someone is whispering something, or the eye doctor
is examining you, or you're watching someone do some mundane thing, you getting your hair done sometimes, and they do it in such a way that is tingly relaxing. I had a customer at the old store I work at who would really go through the paint section (art paints) and lay everything out and examine it all, and she always gave me that ASMR......it's not sexual, but in cases like I just described, it can be absolutely fascinating.
I remember Roger Ebert reviewing Castaway, and saying that people are fascinated by watching other people work, which is what the best part of that movie was - simply
watching Tom Hanks figure out how to survive. It's why the only Realty TV show I can handle, is "Survivorman," because he just works the whole time, it's actually educational,
and if he's in a pretty location, it can be relaxing, like watching the many fires he makes.
(There are actually videos you can buy of a fireplace lit, snow falling, rain falling, ocean waves, or something relaxing that people use to fall asleep.)
Tickling probably wouldn't work for ASMR unless it was just light relaxing tickling...HOWEVER, I would love to see an ASMR video with say, a girl doing something after taking her shoes
off, in sheer toe pantyhose (the best way, of course!! 🙂) or in bare feet for the bare foot fans out there. (Or socks...) Sorting papers, doing some task like that, building a model,
or making some art work, etc.
...hooh boy, can you imagine going to the eye doctor, and she's very pretty, and she dresses like doctors used to dress, and she takes her shoes off to reveal her pantyhose feet
and gives you the full eye exam? You'd be so turned on and relaxed, you pay just for that experience.
The thing about ASMR videos is, and I feel bad for the people who make them, is that the best ones are the "real" ones, the unintentional ones.
They're also known as whisper video, and it's just a blank screen with usually a girl whispering something, or pretending to do your hair.
But a real eye exam video with visuals is always better.

I guess I dont understand when you mean "work for tickling" since NOT everyone get tingles. I mean I watch um alot and sometimes 2 or 3 before bed because theyre fucking awesome, but never once got tingles.
There are a few about back massage and light tickling and ever 1 where the RP is you're like tied up in some chicks bath tub because you ripped her off (its a 2 part deal, in the 1st you have a 'gangster meeting'), and theres 1 where you're a hostage and you hear someone... well it was messed up! I'd be really shocked if you CANNOT find a tickling ASMR vid, just remember rule 34 lmfao. But like I said, I really didnt understand your question.

This topic came up here a couple of years ago. I watched a video of a woman "tickling" an inanimate object. Supposedly the scratching sounds have some kind of therapeutic affect, but all it did for me was provide amusement over the idea that somebody actually thought this was a good enough idea to film.
If you search youtube, there are at least a dozen such videos, all of them equally mundane and boring.

I'm familiar with ASMR videos, but I come at it from the perspective of a hands and nails fan. There are many, many videos of female hands doing some particular activity, sometimes with objects, and sometimes (the best ones) with just the hands. Nails tapping and scratching are popular subcategories. There are thousands of ASMR videos on Youtube. As far as tickling, it can definitely be found. But it's usually the gentle, slow, relaxing kind of tickling, which I like very much, too.
I ran across one the other day that has some feet tickling. I love that stuff. Well...I like the idea of it but I have a feeling if it were taken to a more tickle-y level with reactions and squirming in stuff it would be my favorite thing in the world. I wish more producers here would experiment with stuff like that. As it is I've had to shell out for customs. Whomp whomp.
