Attachment Manager

Heyas. When I try to post a new thread, the attachment manager is absent and as such, I can't upload any pics to the thread/forums. Any thoughts?

The attachment manager is now in the bar of symbols over the box you type your post into. It's the little paperclip near the smile face.

Gotcha. However, when I click on it or try to open the drop-down menu, nothing happens for anything on that row of icons. The fonts, colours and smilies and everything have no reaction when I click them.

On my screen the attachment manager is where it's always been. Are you sure you're not just missing it? If I scroll down a half=screen, the button is right where it was on the last version.

That said, clicking the paperclip works for me too.

Nope. No button where it was in the old version and the paperclip, while I can see it, does nothing.

Can you try using a different browser? It could be the cache conflicting with the fact that we have a newer version, according to the vbulletin forums.

You can try force-reloading the post topic/reply page. Hitting CTRL and F5 at the same time forces a reload of the page that bypasses the cache.

If that fails, would it be possible for you to take a screenshot of what you see? Use ALT and Print Screen/PrtSc and then paste the resulting image into Paint or a similar program.

EDIT: Seems clearing the cache fixed it for one person. I would suggest clearing all aspects of your cache (Cookies, temp files, and the like).

If you use Firefox, do the following:
-Go to "Tools"
-Select "Options"
-Click the "Privacy" tab
-Look for "Private Data"
-Click "Clear Now"
-Make sure "Cache", "Cookies" and "Authenticated Sessions" are checked. Check nothing else unless you want to delete your history or saved passwords as well.
-Click "Clear Private Data Now"
-Close your browser and restart your computer.

If you use Internet Explorer 7, do the following:
-Go to "Tools"
-Click "Internet Options"
-On the "General" tab, look for "Browsing History"
-Click "Delete" near it
-Next to "Temporary Internet Files" click "Delete files"
-Next to "Cookies" click "Delete cookies"
-Close your browser and restart your computer

If you use another browser let me know and I'll write up a procedure for it.
