Hi guys and gals!

You're friendly neighborhood Alchemy here with a minor grievance and a suggestion or two.

You know, tickle videos have been around for years now. The first ones, with a few exceptions, were really not all that great. For years, we search video stores and mail-order catalogs (kids, that was BEFORE *gasp* the internet) for ANY videos with the word "tickle" in them. Then, thanks to the internet, we started to become organized. We started to meet and talk with one another...and finally, we started to make our OWN tickle videos. That's right tickle videos made BY tickle fetishists FOR tickle fetishists. Now, there are hundreds and hundreds of tickle stores big and small. My friends, we are truly in a golden age of tickle.
That being said, something bothers me. Why is it so hard to find videos (clips/dvd's) of regular women being tickled? I'm talking girl-next-door tickling...I'm talking BBW tickling...I'm talking curvy women...I'm talking women who might not be the "prettiest" women in the world, but have a really sexy laugh....
All of that! I mean, it's easy to find videos of super skinny women and plastic looking models being tickled. They're all over the place. Now, try and find a video of a cute girl-next-door type being tickle. Sure, you can still find them, but you do have to dig a little. You know...scroll through the pages...maybe 4...maybe 5...scroll down...scroll down...THERE'S one! They're out there, but you have to look a bit. Now, try and find a video of a lady with a nice curvy body and larger hips being tickled. ...a little harder to find, huh? Yep, some video stores don't even have one...and if they do, it's once again surrounded by plastic looking Paris Hilton types. NOW...here the real test...try and find a video of a cute BBW lady being tickled....and not just some grainy, home-made crappy video either, a good one. Sure, I can think of a few companies off the top of my head that offer some, but they are certainly in the minority.
Now don't get me wrong. I have no problem with slimmer women nor do I have a problem with the video companies that make tickling videos with them.

There is some really awesome content coming from our modern video producers and we are DAMN LUCKY to have them.

What I'm asking for is simply a little variety. Since we are living in an age where we have our choice of hundreds of video producers, it seems like we should have no trouble finding tickling videos featuring all sorts of women.

Granted, I'm just one person, and I'm well aware that there is a proven market for skinny, model type women, but come on! Do you know how much of a breath of fresh air it is to see a video of a regular looking women being tickled...especially if she is super ticklish?

Video producers, I'm not picking on you. I love all you guys. All I'm asking is for a little variety.

I'm proud to say that of the videos BellaRisa has released (and yes that number's going up this year 😎), only the Cheerleader has a been remotely 'typical tk vid' 'lee. And even she was a nice and curvy little gothgirl who was only a cheerleader again for me. You know what I look like; hourglass is an understatement and I'm under 5 feet tall, I sooo don't fall anywhere near the normal model category and neither does anyone I'll hire. (Mostly because I hire my truly ticklish friends and they just don't look like that 😀)
Now having said that, let me tell you that it often takes a ridiculous amount of convincing *real* girls that they're not too chubby/short/brown/whatever to be on camera, and even then they're scared to death that their boss/grandma/future husband will receive a copy of the vid and they will be shunned by society FOREVER. Forever ever. Really, forever Awhile ago I had a **beautiful** girl, 20-something with dark chocolate skin and big brown eyes and a delicious laugh, all set to work for me; in the middle of negotiating when and where we'd shoot she suddenly looks at me panicked and asks "what if my DAD sees it?" and that was that, goldang it . And that's not the only time that kind of fear has lost me a great 'lee, it's frustrating but I can't say I don't understand the fear and apprehension. The issue with the girl next door is she has to pay the mortgage for that house next to yours and she doesn't want to jeopardize her nice existence for a few clips. It can definitely be done, their very legitimate concerns very often can be calmed thank goodness. I'm just pointing out that there's a reason there aren't as many 'normal' lovelies on camera as one would want 😱

I would also like to see more vids with "ordinary" women and men. I too have felt a bit shy, as Bella said, about tickling with someone because there really is a sterotypical "look" to a majority of the women in clips. I have met some folks now and feel better about partnering up with a ler (soon I hope!) and not having to be a women in my 20's!

It's nice to hear that a handsome guy like you would like to see a range of women and not just the "extraordinary" fems...

I'm not sure I understand the problem. Yes, there are definitely many producers who mainly hire gorgeous (supposedly, though they're usually not my type at all), stick-thin models. But if you look beyond those companies, which are often the bigger, more popular ones, there's a fair number of smaller companies who have decent quality videos featuring more down to earth, girl next door models. Even some of the better known companies have some models that qualify, I think. It's just a matter of finding them.

Then again, maybe I just don't know the market as whole well enough and don't realize how few such producers there are because I work with girl next door models all the time myself, who knows? Well, at least I'm an example of that kind of producer. But maybe my work qualifies as "grainy, home-made crappy videos". I still like it, though.

Believe it or not, not every man is attracted to stick model types. I was once told by a guy "I like meat with my potatoes!" And trust me, I come with a lot of meat!!

I'm trying to find one post you've made that was positive; you whine, complain, and critizize. You leave nothing positive to this forum at all! You also seem to have a problem with Alchemy since you attacked him before! As far as Alchemy is concerned he's a good looking man and has no self-esteem issues, take it from me. Wow you know I think I rather go for a knife and slit my wrists before I would ever even think Paris Hilton is hot. only a man with truly low self-esteem would ever think she is hot. God what is wrong with you. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but there is nothing hot or sex about Paris Hilton at all.

As far as what this thread is talking about yes I think it is alot hotter when regular women are tickled cause it seems more natural and the women don't sound like they are faking laughter to me.

Kind of a weird thread, but you know, there is some truth in the idea: while I can't speak for the big time vendors that do this as their career, using all kinds of fresh-faced, 19/20-somethings in their productions, I can speak on behalf of using women who, while gorgeous, are not the "norm" when you look at what everyone is doing as far as the tickle stuff is concerned.

The ladies that I shoot with; Tomiko, Kobe, Fayth, Hollywood, etc...the REASON they're my fantasy women (and hence why I'm only really interested in shooting with them) is because they're MY IDEAL. Some people like seeing girls just out of high school (apparently) being tickled; others prefer older women; still others more (like me) ONLY like seeing a small or select group of particular women in said situations.

My point is; everybody likes something different. No one is full of shit that says they don't like super skinny 19-year-olds being tickled. I DON'T, and it's certainly not because of self esteem or other issues. Just doesn't do it for me. While I personally wouldn't be interested in BBW types either, who's to say there aren't people out there that like that, and if so, why should there be something wrong with that? To each his/her own.

But as far as variety goes in video productions (to the topic creator) please look around, because I'm sure you can find YOUR IDEAL FANTASY in the work that someone's doing. Especially with how things are today.

Interesting that you mention how young many tickling models tend to be. Personally, I don't go for the gorgeous types. I prefer cute, down to earth looks. In fact, some of my models are rather plain looking. Which is fine by me, really. However, while I wish I could work with more models who are, say, mid-twenties to early thirties, I have a hard time finding them. At least, on the modeling website where I find most of my models, there's significantly fewer 25+ models than younger ones, and for some reason they're less likely to accept my shoot offers (though there are exceptions). Picking models who are 18 to 22 years old or so isn't really something I do on purpose. So maybe it's the same situation for some other producers who often work with very young models. Or maybe not, I don't know. I can only speak from personal experience.

By the way, I most definitely don't consider myself one of the big time vendors. I realize I'm a relatively well known but still minor player in the tickling video market. I also don't make a living from it. But I figured I'd post my impressions anyway.

I once had an intresting chat with a friend of mine one day in Central Park. He is in his mid 50s balding and very plain looking. He stated to me how his ideal woman would be young very slim and beautiful, he also made a comment of how he would get turned off if she gained weight. I looked at him long and hard and told him appearance is a 2 way street and how she would have to deal with looking at him also. My point is that there are men and women out there who seem to get swept away in this fantasy world of what pop culture in the west deems beautiful. And its so odd that they dont seem to want to put these standards for themselves but are too quick to judge others on looks alone. Alchemy is right in what he states and at times all the models start to look alike. Id like to see the girl next door too. Im a big fan of m/f clips and seeing two female models playfully tickling each other in thongs just does not strike me as real. I know alot of you producers will start talking about sales figures but maybe if some of you tried somthing diffrent you just may tap into a market that you did not know was there.

I don't know you, but I think I got what your point was/is. I agree wholeheartedly with you. I would love to see more bigger women and more variety in general....more mature women and men...that would be great and thank you for mentioning this issue.

I understand the fears of the "girl-next-door". I'd have similar concerns in their position. That's why most places HIRE models. It seems like we're saying it would be great for those producers to hire from a more diverse model pool. BBW models do exist and in my book are just as hot if not hotter than "Twiggy", with all do respect to "her". But this is not about any competition, though we all have our peculiar desires. This is about realism and inclusion and supporting everyone in our particular interest/fetish area that actually is very diverse.
