Just wanted to see how many gardeners we had hanging around and what kind of stuff you're planting.
I just placed an order for the first wave of bulbs to totally redo our flower garden areas come fall. Since we weren't in our new house until late Nov. last year, I ended up doing mainly a wildflower mix out front for this year. It was pretty in some stages. But, it got totally overgrown and looked like hell by the time I got around to yanking most of it out yesterday. So, I'm going to do things right for next year. I'll still need to get some mid and late summer bloomers to put in. But, my spring and early summer should look great...esp. framed out with landscape timber and using solar lighting to accent and add depth.
In addition to the stuff I already have bulbs for (mainly stuff from my grandmothers' gardens) and my rose bushes and sedum, it should do nicely. In case anyone is interested, here's a copy of the stuff I ordered...

Then, of course, we'll have the vegetable garden again too. I just hope the weather is better for it next year. This year hasn't done as much as usual. Plus, we have a woodchuck eating half or everything that does come up. Grrr!
What's everyone else planning on?
