Hello,

I'm attending a BDSM tasting party where I will be tickling feet. This will be my first time. I read somewhere to lubricate the feet with baby oil to make them more ticklish. The location I'm attending had a problem with someone showing up with perfume and others breaking out from the odor. Is baby oil safe to bring and if not is there an alternative?

Even some Unscented moisturizer will help. Making the soles slippery can increase the ticklishness.

Coconut oil is almost as slippery, good for the skin, and does not taste bad

Yes, coconut oil is the best for everything.
You could also go with lotion for feet, like Johnson's baby.

Most products will list on the label if they're hypoallergenic, free from scents or dyes, etc.

Most brands of baby oil, designed for the sensitive skin of actual babies, are hypoallergenic and free of all perfumes and dyes. Do check the label as suggested, though.

I wonder if a silicone-based lube, like say Wet Platinum, would work safely?

I would say it would - it's designed for areas that should not be exposed to perfumes/dyes or other substances.

As an aside, I've had a horrible reaction to baby oil used on me in areas other than the feet. Horrible allergic reactions. Just because it's hypoallergenic or "safe for babies" does NOT mean you won't have a reaction.

At my doctor's office, they have a sign posted that one of the staff is highly allergic to anything coconut and ask that you announce if you area wearing any oils/creams/lotions with that scent. So I wouldn't recommend using coconut oil - think food allergies, too.

use any hand sanitizer....very slippery and no one will object
