Go BAC in time. I am dusting off a moldy oldie here and re-releasing Dr. Soles Illustrated History of Tickling with a swanky new color cover Illustration.

In this little lexicon, Dr. Sole's presents a collection of period piece illustrations that reveal tickling's possible past. Some of the tickling world's most common themes are touched upon including scenes from medieaval dungeons, Chinese foot tickling, colonial stocks and much, much more. From foot tickle torture to upper body tickling there is something for everyone here. A must-have for the true collector of Tickling Memorobilia.

Hi!

I'm writing from Italy and I'm one of your older customers...I bought this one a lot of time ago, when it was still on paper, by mail 🙂
This is one of your best comics for me, great artwork and themes, especially the nazi and the spanish scenarios.

I'm very happy you're back and I hope to see new works of yours 😉

Cheers!

PS.I have a question for you.
This is one of my favorite drawings and I wonder if you could 'restore' it.
Obviously i ask it without commitment 😉

BAC,

Your illustrations are phenomenal. The detail, as well as the settings, are second to none.

Do you accept cash as payment for illustrations?

Thanks.

Joe.

I haven't seen his piece in years. This piece was created back when I was participating a tickling lending library business run by a fellow that went by the name of Tobias Hackner. He proved to be a bit ruthless and never returned the originals that were on loan to him. :Grrr: Good copier technology was scarce at the time and expensive and I was but a poor working college student. Shame on me for ever parting with my original art. I will check my files for a cleaner copy to share with the group. Given the dated cold war theme, perhaps a remake of this peice would be a good addition to volume 2 of Dr. Sole's Illustrated History of tickling.

Thanks for your support

This truly is a must for true tickling art enthusiasts. Classic work that went on to inspire generations of tickling artists, authors, and publishers 😉

GREAT STUFF!!!

Well worth the price, as there is one in this collection I have never seen before in any form(the one on the bed), several I have never seen in this particular form (the Nazi one is different - in a good way - from what I have seen before), and all are high-res.

I have a request of sorts. I would love to see the Horrors of the Tickle Dungeon series released in complete form. I have what looks like one or two from the series (part I ?), but they make me wish I had the whole thing. 🙂

I think you'll have a lot of work in the next months, dear Bac, to satisfy our hunger 😉

:bump:

I am so glad BAC is back! I can't wait to see all this stuff restored and I really hope you have new stuff on the way too.

Im waiting for the art prints to be digitally released myself. They were so good, he would have bought them himself if he hadn't drawn them.

So far,, awesome. I finally got to see the whole 'No Business Like Toe Business' strip. I know you're not asking for suggestions, but if you are looking for ideas on what to try for new stuff, a favorite character is Dr. Soles. You did do a small strip called 'Dr. Soles' Tickling Techniques' a while back where he demonstrated the effects of an interplac toothprush and a water pic. I'm sure a lot more than just me would like to see that become a series where he talks to the reader and demonstrates other methods. 🙂

problem

Hi BAC,

I am a french man and I'm a fan. I try to go to your store in images4sale.com but it doesn't work... Help me if you can?
Thank you

Benoit

Excellent!!

Hey BAC - just picked up a couple of your pieces. Excellent quality - I like the Leopoldovna-inspired art (from the Sex Life of the Foot and Shoe). I love how you even give the ticklers Russian facial features. Kudos!

P.S. Your Nazi tickle-torture image, with the victim standing on the block of wood? I preferred the way you originally drew it, although I can understand the revision. 🙂

Art Restoration

The rescanning and cleaning up the old work is quite an undertaking. Yes, I have a new one in the works. Not sure when I will release it, but there will be sets from my archive released in the mean time.

Thanks for your support.

As long as you're considering some restoration, I've got a few favorites besides the "Tender Foot" I put back in your other thread I'd love to see restored (or in one case how the heck she got into that situation) - if they're all your's. Some of them have no signature.

Course you've got your other projects so I'm willing to wait even if it's years from now. After all, I've been waiting since 1998 just to say hello and how much I love your work.

Hey BAC, do you have an estimated number of pages you're going to restore? Are they all in this condition or is it just the collection the internet people have?

Or, hope of hopes, are you going to restore your entire catalogue and re-release it? :veryhappy :veryhappy :veryhappy

That would be super-mega-ultra-awesome!

Excellent suggestion. we are all on the same page. I don't think you will be dissapointed with the new project I am working on. Patience is a virtue.
