Check out this video for one of Metallica's new songs. Not only is it the single greatest music video I believe I have ever seen, but they seem to back in fine form as far as their sound goes.

click. :note:

Zombies created by the Russians to destroy America during the Cold war.....

SWEET DUDE!!!

Cause zombies=awesomeness

And the song was dope too XD

I love their new album. It's so good to hear them kick ass again. This one should actually go right in between ...And Justice for All and The Black Album. I hadn't seen this video until it was posted on here, so thanks Mr. Tibbler!

LMAO!
That picture and the lyrics on it XD

Never knew "One" was about shopping XD

Oh yeah!

What's your favorite Metallica Album? I have to be cliched and say Ride the Lightning...Damn, I saw them a couple years ago in San Diego with Godsmack... that was a hell of a show.

Okay. I have to listen to this now... things that people are saying...

My verdict: Video is pretty good. A lot of it is painfully bad CG, but it's pretty good zombie action. I wish they'd used real animation for the "propaganda cartoon" attack on San Francisco, but unfortunately in 2008 you take what you can get. When the balloon and bomber are there, they just look bad. The Soviet planes looked pretty cheezy CG too. I loved the giant robots, though.

The music was right above so-so. It's still Metallica and they impress me about as much as people who get a high score in Guitar Hero.

No offense to people who enjoy playing Guitar Hero, I'm just not impressed.

Meh, to each his own. I'm impressed that they're well on their way into their fifties and they can still rock like hell. They've been my favorite band since I was a wee tot, and they're the reason I play guitar today.

but they're not for everyone, that's for sure; though I have a theory that there's a Metallica song for everyone. I even found one my mom liked.

Iron Maiden is older, same with Priest. They both kick ass too. Don't forget the Stones and Aerosmith.

Remember, the Stones have a dead guy in the band.

 I don't know why they don't bring that giant, property-damaging pitcher of good stuff back for another generation.

I like all the bands mentioned by everyone above and more. That video just flat fucking kills me, though. Much of the bad CG is intentional, and even when it looks kinda cheapo, I dug it.
Kinda like that legendary sequence in the old Heavy Metal movie where the B52 bomber plane becomes infested with zombies. The animation(even then) wasn't much, but they nailed one of the finest horror movie moments ever with it.
Same for this video. Brilliant shit. Nice little "chem-trails" blurb to round it all out.

Thanks to the Net, my TV, and just modern living in general, I have the attention-span of a gnat, yet I've watched this thing three times now in it's nine-minute entirety, and it STILL blows me away.
