Bakeing

Years gone by i always just fitted in the exmas related tasks like bakeing cakes, making exmas puddings, mince pies, ect as and when i had a few moments of time.

Now i seem to measure out and plan all the tasks and would you know, it always goes wrong and never tastes right.

I prefer the home made stuff in the main to the bought items, and doing it myself means i can switch off from the stress of modern times 🙂 🙂

Mind you the dog and cat never complain they always like some of it, they both go for the fruit, the dog eats oganges and the cat sometimes eats pepermint based things.

And you all thought i was strange 🙂 and dizzy 🙂

I know at least one woman on here who would agree to me being dizzy and strange 🙂

hmm i don't do much baking, as David is a diabetic..but i will be baking on Thanksgiving..the turkey etc..i used to make two pumpkin pies, one sugar free..and we go away for Christmas so my sister can do all the work..hehe

Going away is the answer for certain, let someone take the strain, i have done that a few times, and once or twice we spent exmas in a hotel which was nice, no work to be done,and we just laid back and took in the scene.

Going back home after all those people in the hotel my was it quiet, i was glad there were four of us, but come the return to normal grrrrr,agh but after a few hours it was like nothing happened back in the old routine.

The dog was pleased to see me, well so was the cat but she did ignore me and play hard to get for a while, (my oh my she is such a bitch at times) 🙂 🙂
