bananas and the number 8

I almost always have a banana first thing in the morning for breakfast. 😀
 
This thread is another pointless one started by Chris. 😱
 
I have never eaten an actual banana in my entire life. I think it's the texture that puts me off.

However, I've always enjoyed the aroma of banana as well as banana flavoured medicine and banana cake. Furthermore, when I was a young lad I used to watch the kids TV programme Bananaman (he was a boy who was also a superhero, whenever he ate a banana to become his alter-ego)

With regards to the number 8, I have nothing useful to add other than the fact that my first childhood toy was a fluffy octopus (with 8 legs...obviously) - it still lives with me, still has 8 legs but has very little fluff left.
