banckbends and handstands

So I'm actually wondering if anyone has ever been tickled when they were in a back-bend type of stance...or in a hand-stand. I'm just mostly curious...and also wonder how people reacted. I once was tickled by a teacher assistant in a gymnastics class at around the age of 8. We were doing back-bends and I could barely keep myself in that stance to begin with. For some reason, the TA decided to run around the room, tickling everyone's tummies and a few of the girls laughed and fell down...I never fell down though...I think I wanted to prove I was strong, ha. After that though, it never happened again.

I can't do a backbend or handstand, let alone sustain it long enough to be tickled. 😛

Seems like tickling someone in a handstand would be a bad idea. The 'ler would be risking a (well-deserved) knee to the face, and the 'lee would be risking a serious neck injury.

Handstand would not be advisable, but I have wanted to explore being tied in a backbend position. It would have to be over something solid though, as I am not able to do a backbend on my own. I tried that recently and it was not good.

^ It sounds kind of uncomfortable. But I guess it would stretch out the tummy for full access.

Girlboundforfun, did you try to push up into a back bend, or drop into it?

I can push into a back bend. There is no way I am going to try to lean back into one.

I can do a backbend, but theres no way I would want to be tickled, I would hurt my neck!

When I was like 13 I could push up into a back bend and I got tickled on my tummy once by an exchange student who was staying with us from Japan. Only lasted about 2 seconds, and I fell. Didn't get hurt though.

The one time I tried to do a backbend that happened to me, all my friends know I'm ticklish, and I fell down immediately, giggling and curling into a ball 😛

ive tickled a few girls in hand stand positions. its a good trick you challenge them to a hand stand contest then tickle there feet when they go up. the thing is though for all you safety people . You have to hole them up by the legs so if they try to fall they dont fall on their head. you set them down gently when you feel they have had enough. sounds mean but it was really not.

I've tickled girls while they were doing handstands in a pool. I also witness a girl doing a handstand being tickled. She was being held up by three guys so she wouldn't fall over and each guy took turns tickling her bare feet. In a sort of strange way it was really hot.

As an adult, no way! I don't want to be responsible for any injuries.

Almost this exact thing happened to me. I used to be a cheerleader, and in preparation for back hand springs and the like we had to do back bends to stretch the muscles. Anyway, my coach came by and tickled my tummy once while I was in this position. I promptly fell down and was embarrassed the rest of practice.

Umm. My ex used to tickle me whenever I did back bends, too.

Aaand, when I was a kid and my parents' pool was actually usable (it now has weeds and small trees growing through it 😛) my friends and I would do hand stands all the time under water. A few times I've had my feet/thighs tickled, and vice versa.

It would be potentially dangerous - so I would not recommend it. Even if bondage was used to secure the lee', you still have the case of blood going to the head. Interesting concept though. 😀

I don't think a backbend or a handstand has EVER been part of the things my body has been capable of.

I think I'll leave that to the more agile and nimble of you folks.

Not sure I'd want someone tickling me while I tried to maintain either to be honest... although it does sound like fun in a weird sort of way >_<

If you consider the King Cobra to be a back-bending pose (it is in a sense) then there's a pic of my character Mari getting tickled in the King Cobra pose... by herself no less! A similar pose involving the Camel Pose can be seen too.

i was once tickled on my ribs while in a backbend, my friend was spotting to do a back walkover and snuck in a tickle i almost fell to the ground but he had a good hold on me !

I was doing a handstand during martial arts at one point years ago, and two of my students came up behind me, one grabbed my legs and the other started tickling under my arms. They kept me up for a good 20 seconds, I actually couldn't even be mad at them after it was done. XD

There are some half round padded .. bench things, which kind
of approximate a back bend, with support. If someone
could be securely attached to that, it would probably
be comfortable enough for long-term tickling!

I can push up into a backbend, and have often been tickled that way.
Sometimes I fall down, sometimes I try to crabwalk away. 🙂
