www.mlb.com. On the first page.

Baseball great Don Zimmer, long time player, coach, and manager, passed away today at the age of 83. He was truly one of the greats of the game.

R.I. P. Mr Zimmer.

One of the truly great characters in baseball. A sad day for MLB indeed. RIP Don.

What a great guy. Sorry to hear of his passing. Thanks for posting Mitch

Truly a baseball ICON!!! Never worked in any other "field", nor cashed anything other than a baseball check...Was married in a home plate ceremony in 1951...66 consecutive years in the game as player, coach, manager, adviser...And in the last few years, he changed his uniform number, every year, to reflect his "years in the game"!!!

R.I.P. "Zim"!!!

Though my biggest memory of Zimmer was the 2003 ALCS (Game 3), he's defiantly an Icon for MLB.

A very sad time for the Game..

I still think that was a Dick Move by Pedro Martinez.
