ALCS WINNER: BoSox

NLCS WINNER: Phillies

World Series winner (again its not the YANKEES!!) Boston snaps the CURSE OF THE BAMBINO!!

this is just for fun..i hope i am close on these predictions.

curse of the Bambino will live on...

brought to you by your friendly neighborhood Yankee Fan!

JPie honey, one day the Sox will finally get past you guys and leave ya hanging like a booger in drip dry. besides, you're only 6 games up. A bad week by the Yanks and a hot streak by the Sox and they're right back in it. Don't get too cocky, sweetie😀

I am going to take it one step at a time.

NL East winner Mets
NL Centeral winner Cubs
NL East winner Giants

AL East winner Yankees
AL Centeral winner White Sox
AL East winner A's

NLCS Cubs (too much pitching)
ALCS Yankees (why? because there the Yankees)

World Series winner Cubs (Pitching prevails)

I will give the Mets one more year to get a stud pitcher and another hitter to protect Piazza and replace the cubs with the Mets

Cubs have to stay healthy to make it. If they stay healthy i will change my prediction. They have a lot of talent. if the pitching staff is back and all of em are healthy. Prior, Woods, Maddux, Clements, Zambrano..they could be deadly. Im just waiting to see if Arizona trades Randy Johnson to either New York or Boston. Thats who will get him...if he is traded..New York or Boston. He wont go to Anaheim. Hopefully Boston gets him, cause i dispise the Yanks.

Neither the Yanks or the Boston will get him, because neither one of them have the players Arizona needs to rebuild their team. You can't trade just to trade. Arizona is looking for a lot and neither one of them have what they need, so Johnson is gonna end up staying😀

How did I know you would like that, Natural! I remember from my playing days that if a good pitcher was on, you were toast. If Prior and Wood are healthy with Maddux experience, that rotation will be tough to top.

I hope that you are light years off on this one. I curse the hated jints and wish them ill fortune.

the giants in the west is a no brainer unless LA can some how pull more games outta their asses than the giants do. i agree with you. i dont like them either. im not even that fond of Barry Bonds.

Just to be different...

I think that I will go a different route on these predictions...

AL East: NY YANKEES
AL Central: CHICAGO WHITESOX
AL West: ANAHEIM ANGELS

NL East: FLORIDA MARLINS
NL Central: CHICAGO CUBS
NL West: SAN DIEGO PADRES

ALCS: ANGELS def. YANKEES in 6 games
NLCS: CUBS def. MARLINS in 7 games

WORLD SERIES WINNERS: ANAHEIM def. MARLINS in 6 games

WORLD SERIES DREAM MATCH-UP: Chicago Cubs vs. BOSTON REDSOX

Don't worry, Mils, the HATED JINX are going down! 😛

We do agree on who should not win the NL West. 😀 😛

In case people havent noticed, My Braves have tied the Phillies for the lead in the NL East. I know its only July, but I think Atlanta has a shot to win either the NL East, or at least the wild catd. They have played very well this last month after a very poor start. The NL East is amazing, with 4 teams within one game of each other. It will be interesting to see if this will turn out like 1973, where someone wins a close division race with not much more than a 500 record. My other predictions are as follows.

NL Central- I think the Cards should hold on, but I still see the Cubs making a run at them at some point.

NL West- I'll go with the Giants, as I think they have the most talent to win in the long haul.

NL Wild Card- Phillies. They struggle, but I think they have a shot to win the wild card.

AL East- Yankees Who else? They're playing well, and already have a large lead.

AL Central- I like the Twins. I know the White Sox are close, but Minnesota really has a lot of talent.

AL West- Oakland. I just dont see Texas staying as good as theyve been over the long run.

AL Wild card- White Sox. I think they have a good shot.

So, those are my predictions. It will be interesting to see how it all pans out come October.

Mitch

I know it is still only the middle of July and alot can happen but at this point I predict an AL East win for the Yankees! They have a solid team. They are playing well.

Could it be that the Mets might make a run for the NL east? wouldn't that be interesting again.

Being a NYC gal and a NY fan I would love to see a subway series again, brings so much excitement to the city.

I say the Yankees and St. Louis in the World Series!

and the Yankees win and the Yankees win.

I'd have paid to see your reaction when the Toronto Blue Jays won the World Series two years in a row 😀

Yet another individual who has been brainwashed by the hated jints. Very sad, very sad indeed. 😛
