What do you think of the hair textures I apply in my art? Because they're incredibly tedious and annoying to do, so I'm thinking of just dropping them entirely in favour of finer lighting.

Your hair textures are the first thing I noticed about your art, and one of the best aspects of it. Keep them - the more you do it the quicker you will get at it. 🙂
