Beer Lovers?

Any beer aficionados here? I must say that beer is an integral part of my existence. What kinds of beer does everyone like? Ales, lagers, stouts? Domestic Brews, Imported?

I work at a store that serves over 300 brands of beer. I can honestly say I don't have a taste for beer, but I do know about half a dozen names that I can palette for an evening.

I am a beer lover definately,as a matter of fact I am having one right now.My favorites include Heineken,Budweiser,Guinness,and Old English when I feel like taking it back.Last weekend I had Woodchuck which I haven't had in a long time.It has like an apple cider taste,good stuff.I must say that my summertime drink is definatley Corona w/ lime.I have been drinking that everyday for probably the last month and a half,yeah,I figure take advantage while the weather is warm.

They are premium brands from localized breweries in Canada. Beer is one of those things where you really do get what you pay for. 🙂

I'm definately a beer fan, it kinda runs in my family. I'm not terribly picky though, I pretty much will drink anything you put in front of me. I'd have to say Newcastle is one of my favorites, but if we're talking cheap beer I like Rolling Rock best. Course, I can drink a Bud too, or even the Milwaukee's Beast if we're going that low, haha. I like ales mostly, especially pale ales, but I also like a darker brew if the mood strikes me. But I was a college kid for a long time so I can naturally drink anything, lol.

Dude if you're ever in Boston you have to visit the Sam Adams brewery, It's awesome! Then you can go to Sam Adams historical grave site and have a Sam Adams while standing on his grave.

Ah, my kind of thread! I'm not really picky about beer. Whenever I indulge in any kind of alcohol, it's about having a good time with good friends. Having said that, if I'm being picky, I'd prefer the following. Newcastle, Blue Moon and Sam Adams in no particular order. You really can't go wrong with any of those, in my opinion.

Anything German... and nothing cheap. Other than that bring it on: Corona, Heineken, Red Stripe, Blue Moon, Newcastle, Guiness, whatever.

Brhama

Kokanee Gold

Alexander Keiths.

I don't like the stronger lagers, stouts, or ales because every time I drink one I keep thinking "why don't I quit fucking around and just buy whiskey?"

And then I do.

I'm a sucker for pilsners, and Urquell is my favorite. But Budvar and Staropramen comes pretty close (Czech pils FTW!!!).

If we're talking domestic brands, then I prefer Hansa.

My personal favorite is Oatmeal Porter Stout from a brewery in Ashville, NC called Highlander Brewery. It's a dark porter with a good hoppy taste and smooth drinkability.

Bring a designated driver for this one!😉

I'm kind of lucky in that I live where a pretty famous micro-brew is made. Some of you may have heard of Deschutes Brewery, if not, try and find some, my two favorite beers Black Butte Porter and Twilight Ale come from them. After that I like Rogue Dead Guy Ale, Hefeweizen's, and for cheapie I do enjoy Busch.
