Before the internet, what was the first letter you read in an adult magazine that made you realize you were not alone in this great world of tickling. For me, I was about 17 and found a letter in a Penthouse mag and in the forum section found a letter that wasn't titled with the word "tickling" but I found it had to do with a high school student who was fasinated with tickling his art teacher who he described as a beautiful light complected black female with pretty feet. He first worked up enough nerve to tickle her feet with a paint brush while she had them propped up on her desk and she told him she liked it but done in a different way. She invitedhimto stay after school the next day where she had him tie her hands behind her back and to a chair and her bare feet to another chair and told him to tickle her feet as long as he liked and not to stop even if she begged him to. On another occassion, she had him put peanut butter on her soles and had him lick her soles clean which sounded like it drove her crazy. Don't know if he made this up or not but it was real enough for me. I remember being so exited that I was trembling while reading the story (over and over again). That led me on a search for more letters of which I found in the form of a small mag called I think, Human Digest, which had several great stories involving women being tickled.
 
Penthouse? Teacher? FAKE! 🙂

But on topic: For me, it wasn't a letter. I actually saw a documentary in a TV-show about sex which had tickling as a topic. That was when I realized I am not totally weird. 🙂 I was about 16, 17 at the time.
 
It was a long time ago. This was a regular magazine however. This gal was talking about her trip to the massage parlor. She said something like, "I go there just to have my back and legs tickled. I love being tickled and I find it relaxing." I first thought that that would be a heck of a place to work. I was maybe 13 but It really turned me on. I just wish I could remember what magazine it was in or who it was.
 
It isn't about tickling, really. The first thing I read were some small excerpts in Playboy's Barefoot Beauties pictorial. Made me feel good to see that I'm not the only one out there that's really into women's toes. It's a shame they no longer sell them.

As a teenager, I remember finding a tickling story in the forum section of my Dad's Hustler magazine. I couldn't believe it. I was so fascinated by it. I didn't even care about all the pictures of naked chicks in the magazine. That's when I knew there was something wrong with me. lol

I was about 24 when I found an illustrated story about tickle torture in the magazine "Bound to Please" published by House of Milan. 😀

Actually, maybe I shouldn't talk, as I discovered all this online too. Granted, in the very early days of the internet, but still.

I remember reading that "letter" in Penthouse. Never bought a word of it. Same with most of the other letters they published there and in Variations.

I have never asked him, but i'm pretty sure i know the guy who wrote a lot of that stuff.
 
Ever hear of "FETISH TIMES"?

It was a small newspaper, and I bought a copy when I saw on the front page a story titled: "She Tickles Men's Feet". It was a story about a young girl who had a brother who liked his bare feet tickled. She went on to say that she became addicted to tickling men's bare feet.

I never had the guts to look for any adult mag mentions. I sometimes sifted through those big old Sears and JCPenney catalogues, looking for suggestive pics and/or cute guys that I could dream about having tickle me. lol I also watched for any movie, cartoon, tv show scene and watched them often.
 
I remember a Little Magazine.

It had an article in it about a man who READ FEET like a palm reader.

It showed the soles of women's bare feet and I remember it saying: "He tickles the beauties, and they pay for the privilege".:veryhappy

The only thing before the internet that gave me any clue whatsoever was when I was about 16 I saw an ad for an anime movie called 'Kekko Kamen' I think, about some superhero that was completely naked. Among the screen caps of the movie there was a girl in her underwear chained spreadeagled and being tickled by little robotic hands. It was the first ever remotely sexual thing involving tickling I ever saw. Didn't see the movie until I got here in the states. I think a few months later I found the tickle community online.
 
Hm. I don't remember reading about anything like this before the internet. The closest I saw before the net was a legs magazine that emphasized feet and legs.

:bubbly::runningdog: Yeah, people had to use paper and pens or pencils or a typewriter. A contraption that looked like a computer keyboard with similar keys but these metal things with the letters on the ends of them hit on this carbon ribbon and numbers and letters appeared on paper and people had to use this US Postal service and stamps and po boxes....:yarr:
 
it was a girls magazine for me it was an interesting letter too she loved tickling
 
Back in the mid 70's, I remember reading an article in "Psychology Today" that talked about a theater group in NYC that put on various mini dramas. One dealt with a woman in stocks being tickled by a group of women. It was a great find in a mainstream mag.

for me it was in 1993 or 94. I walked into an adult bookstore in Chicago and saw a small black and white publication. for the life of me I cant remember the name of it. It focused on feet and tickling. 10 min later I picked up my first copy of "Leg Show" and almost passed out. LOL
 
I wasn't even looking for a porn magazine that day. I went into a gas station/convenience store to get a Coke, and, while passing by the magazine rack (most of which was not porn) there was a Penthouse paperback book that was based totally on sexual fantasies. One of the article titles they had on the cover to grab attention (and it definitely got mine) was, "My Ticklish Tammy". In all honesty, I was not into buying porn back then, but, I felt I needed to read this article and purchased the magazine. In the article, a guy talked about how he always fantasized tying up and tickled his girlfriend, as well as how he eventually convinced her to agree to it. He then gave very a very detailed account of the ordeal, from the first playful stroke of her foot, up until their final climaxed orgasim while having sex. They even had a few photos of the event as well. It was great to know I wasn't the only one who got turned on by tickling.
 
Good topic. For me, I was on spring break in New Orleans during Mardi Gras in '92. We were walking down Burboun Street and walked past one of the many adult shops when I spied my first tickling magazine. Although I didn't give it more than a passing glance out of fear, it reassured me that I was not the only one.
