I know to some degree or another, most of us aren't 100% "out" or 100% comfortable with everyone in our life about ...umm... cucumbers and ummmm pickling. Yeah.

But the Love Connection post made me wonder if any of us ever got to see something mainstream like that (something definitely about tickling) AND in the company of others?

I remember "Ghoulies". My older brother had rented it and the family was watching the movie, when out of nowhere, this guy pounces on a girl and starts tickling her silly! I just KNEW someone would look at me and KNOW. And let's not get started on "The Newlywed Show".. HOW many times did ticklishness and tickling come up during THAT show! Lastly, I went with a couple of friends to see "Robocop 2". This woman's barefoot and seductively teasing her husband, and I'm thinking "I'd tickle her for that!" And what should happen the very next scene? A screen full of soles and fingers scribbling across them! I almost ran out of the theatre!

I guess I'm wondering how many times we actually caught stuff like that, yet were too embarassed to fully take it in and appreciate it.

One last thing I remember. I was in college and one of the guys I carpooled with wanted to stop off at the mall, to look at comics. Well I wasn't into them, but I'm looking around and I see this video tape of Underdog... and what caught my eye was the word "Tickle". "Underdog and the Ticklefeather Machine" it was. I'm 4 feet away from it, and I wannt pick it up, but my friend is coming up to me and I don't DARE!!! Because... HE'S GOING TO KNOW! LOLOL A couple months ago, I'm in BestBuy and what do I see on DVD? Underdog's Collection including... you guessed it! Well I wasn't going to let it get away from me again! hehehe

Darn, I keep remembering stuff. One day for lunch, a buddy wanted to kill some time at the adult store. We're walking around and I notice a box with "Tickled" on it. HE PICKS IT UP! Reads it and has a look like "Hmmm...that might be interesting, never thought of that before". Of course, the whole time I'm trying to look like I'm not trying to gauge his reaction! lol How silly are we???

Heh, heh! Isn't that ALWAYS the way! I've been "out" for years now, and I'm thrilled, because if I were still trying to hide my "secret", I'd be dying inside watching MTV, or VH1, or BET, all those channels showing their fair share of barefoot female pop stars! When I was younger, I too felt, if there was a mainstream scene in a movie, or T.V., A great, big, neon sign would go on over my head, complete with bells and sirenes, pointing me out! but one day, I thought "Ah, to Hell with it, I can't live this way!" So, I told my folks. They understood.(Give your parents some credit, gang, they'll still love you!). But now, when one of those scenes come on, I just sit there happily, and, what I like to call "Have a moment.". Example: I'm watching the movie "Sirenes", and on of Elle MacPherson's barefot scenes is on. Someone says something to me, and I say "Wait a minute. I'm having a moment!". They understand, and wait til the scene is over. My "Tied and Tickled" magazines, and videos are all in plain view, along with my TFTAs, Harmony and Paradise Vision tapes, and a bunch of other stuff I'd been collecting (and hiding)throughout the years. O.K, now that I've ranbled, and gone totally off topic, yes, there have been times I could have gotten, or purchased something that I would have enjoyed, but was too enbarassed to purchase it, but once I did, I reaized merchants weren't going to make any big deal abiut it, and my folks already knew, and they figured, if I wasn't jumping and tickling strange women out on the street, it was harmless. O.K. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. I'll shut up now.

I remember, after everyone was already drunk/passed-out/asleep, I rewound and watched those scenes again and again and again, until I realized that one of them had gotten up to go to the bathroom and was watching me! ARRRRRGH! Mortification!

Might be an easy segue into finding out you've got more in common with your friend than either of you thought....... 😱

I've said for years that my tickling and foot fetishes both began around age 11....but in retrospect, that may not be accurate..

After reading this post, I remembered being fascinated watching a tv show called "That Girl" when I was even younger. I remember a couple episodes...one in which "Ann Marie" (actress Marlo Thomas) got her toe stuck in a bowling ball, and an attempt to remove it using soap tickled her (she began giggling and said "that tickles"); and another in which she dialed the phone for help with a pencil clutched by her toes (her hand was stuck in the sink drain).

This was like late 1960's...so I couldn't have been more than 8 or 9, and remember it distinctly as then (and haven't seen an episode of "That Girl" in more than three decades).

I've seen other mainstream tickling scenes over the years....and many, many pretty bare feet on mainstream tv (main reason I watched Baywatch 😀
Strangely, I've never bought or even seen a tickling video in my life....I was always scared to death my grandmother or another family member/ friend would find them. As for my friend, I actually picked up a Rope-Bondage video next to the tickling video, and asked him what he thought about it. I've had a foot fetish since childhood, where I used to ask to smell babysitters feet from the time I was like 5, as unappetizing at that is! I never really gave a girl a good tickle until the summer I was 12, when I used to tickle torture these two female couneslors who were about 19 from another bunk on their feet every chance I got. Still, although I knew about my foot obsession from my age of reason, even after the couneslors, I didnt know I had a tickle fetish. That was when I got Don Fraser as a pen pal, and it turned my life around.

This continued right up until Don's death in July, 2002. Ironically, I found TMF just a month later, and I dedicate my membership to Don. Interestingly, since Don's passing, I have only asked a handful of female pen pals about tickling, and concentrated on TMF. So, this is my history. I remember one scene that really kicked it into me, oh how I watched that scene, it was the "World's greatest Magic" show...annually or otherwise..and I was watching simply because I enjoyed magic. But, one of the magicians performed the classic sawing-in-half trick, and had the pure carefree attitude to tickle his assistants feet twice to prove she was solid..(once before the splitting, once after)..and her laughter was like music to my ears...

I still remember that my family was around me during that scene, and they all looked at me as I got up to get a drink (I still wonder to this day if they suspect anything..)

Yeah if your not forthcomming about it, then I think it's easier to get away with things because no one is suspicous. It's just easy to slip in under the radar, so to speak. I was oh 13-14 at the time and had just gotten cable, so AMC was running one night and North to Alaska was on and my mom had control of the remote so I sat there and watched it...

Me too! I remember that one now! I haven't thought about it in many a day. The one tickling scene that had the most impact on me when I was a little boy was the one in the Popeye cartoon "Bridge Ahoy" (thanks to Amnesiac or whoever it was who remembered the title). That's the one where Olive's feet get caught in a girder and Bluto proceeds to have the time of his life. Every time I saw it, it kind of flipped me out, if you know what I mean. Another one was in the Our Gang short "Fishy Tales". I have that one on a VHS now...😀

Embarassing tickle moments

Wow, what a great question! The things I most remember is in the cartoons. There is ALWAYS a tickling scene in cartoons! Even if it was Droopy Dog, it still caught my attention. I remember one time I was over at my grandparent's house, and I left the room because I had seen the cartoon thousands of times, and I knew a tickling scene was coming up. I hid behind the stairwell until the scene was over because I was afraid they would see my face turn red.

I remember telling my boyfriend about it. I am an extremely ticklish individual, and it's not hard to figure it out. We were sitting on the couch watching a movie or something, and he out of the blue asked me about my fantasy. I didn't even think before I said "I would love for you to hold me down and tickle the crap out of me." I put my hand over my mouth and my face must have turned three shades of red.
