Being tickled for weight loss?

... but one hell of a 'ler... sure knew his way around feet... :bowing:

Well ... after reading this post & viewing your photo gallery ( that features SO many pics of your absolutely , ridiculously , GORGEOUS feet!!! ) , I can easily say that this dude is one lucky-ass mofo for getting to make your acquaintance.

BTW - good to see you posting again. 😉

I absolutely believe it could. I would imagine that hour a day would be no different than some that go to the gym every day to do their routines. Granted though, an hour a day would be tough at first because you would be so sore. Like anything else though, you would be conditioned after awhile. I would love to participate in a study and find out for sure if I had someone close enough.

I would gladly work on a conditioning routine for you that will produce excellent results!! 😀

My ex said me tickling her would always result in her losing a pound or two each time. When she would only loss a pound, she would tease me that I wasn't tickling her very well. There's a lot of sweating and her ribs and stomach were always sore from the "tickle" workout which involved her kicking me and trying to push me away.

Though she's an ex, I do miss those tickle workouts with her...

It's a great idea for fantasy and fiction, but I don't really see it as practical in the real world. Weight loss generally needs both exercise AND diet. If you're still eating a stack of pancakes smothered in butter and maple syrup every day, it's not likely to make much of a difference.

I've been into being tickled since long before I knew anybody else had similar interests. I still love it no less to this day. Nonetheless I would not sign up to being tickled on a daily basis. For one, I would not want to risk desensitization, which I suspect may likely occur, at least with me. Secondly, the frequency of daily tickling would considerably diminish the excitement of it. Kind of like eating your favorite ice cream for desert every day.

I've wondered this maaany times. At least just for the cardio, which I need regularly or I feel...well, bad in general. Wish I had a ler. Maybe a lee, why not. 😉 .

....I think I'll have to visit Sacramento soon..

*starts charging up Sonicare toothbrush*

Well I'm not going anywhere. 😉

I've lost 10 pounds on my own but I wouldn't turn down some "help", lol.

I could always start by eating all of that evil food in your fridge. It's a huge sacrafice, but somehow I'll manage it. 😛 ....

Oh , wait you meant "help" as in me tyin ya up and ticklin ya...hmm..I think I could do that ...maybe.

Oh yeah that's right, I'm supposed to cook for you aren't I? 😉 And I think I said something about cooking at the October gather too...Y'all have to tell me what you want. Or I'll show up with something..."creative". Lol.

And believe me, I don't eat the evil food anymore. It all belongs to my brother anyways. :upsidedow

And regardless of what some people are saying in this thread I still think regular sessions with a ler would be healthy. For both the body and soul. :Kiss1:

Same here (now if I could only find a female ler/switch that I could frequently visit..hmm..nope, don't see one 'round here..damn. :manicd: )

I read somewhere that 20 mins of a good tickling is equivalent as 45 mins of an intense aerobic workout.

3-4 times a week should be enough, and to relax Drew's fears, you wouldn't get bored of it.

Consider me convinced. Now, all I have to do is find my own "personal trainer!" 😀

Hey, if I combined tickling with martial arts and could find some hot women who wouldn't mind bein in front of the video camera...hmmm...

Not a bad idea. Too bad I can't find a 'ler close enough and with enough time to come to my house 3 - 4 times a week for a few hours.

*sigh*

Ticklecise... Ticklerobics... I think it'd catch on.

us 'lers have a workout also...

...all that holding down, wrestling, moving of our fingers, etc.--compatible to an aerobics workout IMO. Works up a sweat! 😀

This confirms it.

I just read a newspaper article today saying that Laughter is ver good for a person; it relaxes a person, it releases endorphins into the blood stream, and it can help in lowering blood pressure.

The article also says that is is true for either true or forced laughter (fake laughter) as the body won't recognize either. Therefore, a tickle-forced laughter is very good for a person.

The article also states that 5 minutes of such laughter is equivalent to 15 minutes of an aerobic exercise.

There's something here in Mtl called "Laughter Yoga", where people meet up and just laugh for a few good minutes. Testimonies say it does alot of good for a day.

I read that article and as someone in the medical profession, I always wondered the logistics of having an actual Tickle Clinic. Imagine, you get to lay on your ass, and let go of everything. Burn a helluva lotta calories, get the heart pumping, release some endorphins, and relieve some stress.

I'm sure I'd have to run some clinical trials before I can get this project off the ground. Anybody wanna volunteer in name of medical science... :woot:

I can see it now . . . 🙄 (cue the fancy dream sequence).

I think I've seen something like that in CA, too. I'm almost tempted to e-mail one of those people in charge of those things and ask if they'd ever consider adding tickling to it.

I saw a segment on some program about these religious people who get together for what would basically be "laughter yoga" like you said, only they were laughing "through God" or something. Standing in a circle holding hands asking God to give them laughter and then just...cackling, with eyes closed in a religious ecstacy. That program creeped me the hell out. :/

Yeah, that's freaky... Tribal dance is more approved lol.
