pick by position

this isnt a put together a team thing .. just give me what player if you had the chance that you would take at each position.. dont think of the people you select as a collective teams its not.. just who you would take.. not the best nessecarly just who you would take and a sentence explaining why

QB- Matt Ryan.. this kid plays beyond his years and has ice water in his veins

RB- Michael Turner... always been a fan of his and hes a burner

FB- Leron Mcclain... big running back thats listed as a fullback

WR#1- Andre Johnson...hes a beast

WR#2- Brandon Marshall.. tall, athletic, and snatches not catches the ball

TE- Owen Daniels...decent blocker great reciever with good speed

not gonna do o linemen

DE- Mario Willams.. fast big and hes a disrupter

NT/DT... Haloti Ngata... most athletic big man in the nfl

DE#2.... Aaron Kampman.. not flashy but always makes plays

LB#1- James Harrison.. best defensive player in the league

LB#2- Shawne Merriman... fast athletic and amazing

LB#3- Ray Lewis... he ray lewis.. nuff said

LB#4- Rocky Mcintosh... great player.. good in pass and run. aggresive

CB#1- Antonio Cromarte.. tall and athletic

CB#2- Champ Bailey.. the only shutdown corner left in the league

SS- Troy Polamalu... best saftey in the nfl .. very versatile

FS- Ed Reed.. i know hes a strong saftey but i think hed be better as roaming fs

I am not gonna count people like Brady and Merriman, who have been hurt all year. This is for 2008

QB = Peyton Manning; Drew Brees was right there; really hard decision. 3 MVP`S

RB = Adrian Peterson . Best RB in the game

FB = Mike Sellers. underappreciated for years

WR = Andre Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald. Johnson was insane and Larry is Mr touchdown

TE = Jason Witten. Best overall TE in the game, no one else even close

Have to have Offensive Lineman

C = Andre Gurode. Most physical center in the game
G = Steve Hutchinson , Leonard Davis . hutchinson is best line man in the game today. Davis is freak of nature
OT = Joe Thomas, Michael Roos . thomas will be all-pro for next decade. Roos opened up huge holes for Chris Johnson all year

DE = Mario Williams, Julius Peppers. Williams and Peppers are the same guy, one-on-one blocking nightmare

NT = Kevin Williams. space eater with big talent and bigger motor

ILB = Patrick Willis , Jon Beason. these two guys are just pro tackling MACHINES!!!

OLB = DeMarcus Ware; he should be defensive player of the year and James Harrison shouls get 2nd in voting

CB = Nnamdi Asomugha, Antione Wingfield. these two guys envelope the WR they are shadowing

FS = Ed Reed . always where the ball is

SS= Troy Polamalu. most fierce big hitter in the game

OK, if we are going by 2008 stats and how they played this is my list.

QB= Drew Brees--The man was a few first downs short of the record for passing yards in a season. If he had a few more impact players, and a defense to rely on, watch out!

RB= Brian Westbrook. A game changer, a great receiver with deceptive speed and agility. This year again he showed why he is truly the one the Eagles can win with or lose without.

FB= Gotta agree with Leron Mcclain. Fast and Big. To bad Jacobs is listed as a HB, Id rather have him as a FB.

WR1= Andre Johnson, he is unstoppable.

WR2= Steve Smith. The man is simply a football player. Tough, fast and makes the big play.

TE= Tony Gonzales. 96 catches, over 1000 yds, 10 TD's. Led all Tight Ends in those categories, and most importantly, out of 96 catches, 67 of them were for first downs. Best 1st down percentage hands down.

Offensive Linemen= Kevin Mawae--Center, outstanding job rush and pass blocking. Alan Faneca--Tackle, Jordan Gross--Tackle. 2 great tackles with impressive mobility and speed. Steve Hutchinson--Guard, Joe Thomas--Guard, both are playing at unbelievable levels and look to do so in the future.

DE= Mario Williams and Justin Tuck. Both of them are just incredible and fast.

DT= Haynesworth. So good, no one talks about his stomping incident anymore.

ILB1= Patrick Willis, he is so good Websters is trying to find a word to describe him.

ILB2= Ray Lewis. Emotional leader, vocal leader and one hell of imposing force.

OLB1= James Harrison. Simply the best all-around Linebacker playing today.

OLB2= Joey Porter. Fast, hot-tempered, and when motivated..virtually unstoppable.

CB1= Antoine Winfield. Speed and ability.

CB2= Asante Samuel, improved and shows how much New England misses him.

FS= Ed Reed. Do I really have to explain this pick.

SS= Troy Polamalu. Again, do I even have to explain this one.

Kicker (yes they are important too) John Carney. Missed 3 FG's all year (and two of those were blocked. Never missed an Extra Point.

Those are my picks.

Rob
