I was on Youtube tonight and watched the chase scene from the 1968 movie Bullit starring Steve McQueen. I remember seeing that scene in the theater. It was the first time I saw a scene shot with a car mounted camera and I thought it was so cool. It seemed like a virtual reality ride because the scene was shot in San Francisco with the cars going up and down hills so fast you actually felt it in your stomach. McQueen drove a Mustang and the bad guys drove a 1968 Charger. I'll always remeber that scene because of how it made me feel in the theater.
My favorite car chase was in the movie "The Blues Brothers" when they drove through and trashed an entire mall. :bwahaha:

The chase scene from the French Connection was a might awesome one.
