Best way to find an RP partner?

I really love RPing, but I haven't in over a year now. I haven't really gotten over last time, and I figured it's probably time to do so.
I'm pretty young, only 19, and my at-home situation is very bad, so getting out and about in the real world isn't really an option for me yet.
Anyway... What would be the best way to find an RP partner? I couldn't imagine just posting something in Personals like a psuedo-advertisement would go over well, but at the same time I'm not too terrific at getting myself out there.
Some advice would be monumentally appreciated.

Check the chatroom, as I know you do from seeing you in there all the time. I find it's great for rp, once you get to know people. Remember, different people want different stuff out of RP (for example I like playful tickles as the 'lee).

Also download a messenger, if you haven't already, and add people there :3

I haven't been in there since the very first day I joined.
I can only get it to work on my phone, and when in there it glitches me in and out constantly so I kinda got frustrated with it 😛

Also, I understand different people want different things. That's why I put my desires on the back-burner. I'm so young, they aren't really full fleshed out yet, so I am more than willing to follow along with what the other person wants.

Yeah, I'll have to see about getting that to work. Hopefully I can get it right.
