If you want to get back into country, come about three hours east to the desolate wasteland of Central N.Y., where bovines outnumber the humans. Of course, compared to the majestic megalopolis that is NYC, which most people always think of exclusively whenever they hear the words "New York," Buffalo would seem like perfectly bucolic countryside too.
