Been following COPA matches all week, just watched two great matches yesterday, Brazil/Chile and Peru/Paraguay.

After the Peru/Paraguay match went into overtime and then sudden death penalty kicks for eight rounds, one of the announcers mentioned "coming up next Brazil/Chile, good luck trying to follow the thrill of this match". Boy they weren't kidding!

Now we're treated to the COPA final today at 8PM EST. I'm hoping Peru can make a match of it against the mighty Brazilian squad.

I love watching the South American side in the world Cup, the style of play is different to this side of the water.

England �������������� V Denmark ���� tonight!!, as a Leicester City fan it is weird to want Kasper Schmeichel to conceide goals but on this occasion I do!

WOW!! England/Denmark in the EURO 2020 semi-final match was remarkable. England scores on a penalty kick in extra time for a 2-1 lead and outlasts Denmark's furious attempt to score the equalizer.

England buries years of frustration to reach their first major match final since 1966, that's three years before I was born. So they will face Italy in the EURO 2020 final on Sunday, should be a great match.

On the other hand the COPA football final takes place on Saturday pitting Argentina and Brazil, two powerhouses of South American football.

Surely the pints will be flowing freely tonight across the pond.

With the level of football being played this weekend, the brews might just be flowing here too as I veg on the couch for an impressive weekend of football.

Rooting for Arg over Brazil and England over italy

You got your wish, well half of it ThatPercussionGuy when Argentina got off the schneid of "always a bridesmaid never a bride", and took down mighty Brazil. Lionel Messi had always been frustrated with Argentina's lack of finishing championship games, but he, and Argentina finally got to hoist a cup.

Unfortunately, I'm having to DVR the England/Italy match because my daughter called and wanted to do lunch today, but family comes first, so...

I'm also with you in that I want England to quell their frustrations in finals matches, I'm predicting England 2-1 over Italy in regulation. We'll see, it should be a great match.
