BitTorrent Help

I have recently downloaded and installed BitTorrent to use it for downloading (Thanks Val ) but it won't let me open it, configure it, etc. Help?

Which client did you install? The main one by the creators of BitTorrent? If so, I'd recommend ditching it and going with Azureus (Requires Java). Problem solved. 😉

From the looks of your error it appears the program is trying to call a function and is not finding it. Have you tried an uninstall/reinstall?

To answer both questions: Yes. So, where would I happen to find Azureus?

http://azureus.sourceforge.net/ Just make sure you have the latest version of Java (A link is on that site to it).

Just for reference, I get the feeling you're trying to open the bittorrent program. If I remember correctly from the time I used to have the thing, it doesn't like that. You usually just have to open torrent files with it and away it goes.

Azureus makes things a lot simpler. Install that and it's becomes much easier to drive.

Why not try µTorrent? It rocks!
