The phone light on Ross's cell phone was a message from none other than :Baby Timmy.
"Ross, Tiffany (Tim's wife) and I had a fight. She walked out on me. You and I have to talk tomorrow. I'm very concerned about what might happen with this, both personally, and financially" Tim said.
Ross had a smirk on his face, and went back to bed, with Kayley trailing him.
"What;s the smirk? Who was that?" Kayley said.
"I'm sorry, I cannot talk about it, professional ethics" Ross said.
"Fuck professional Ethics, if you dont tell me who that was, I am going to tickle you" Kayley said.
"Oh, keep quiet, teacher, and go to sleep. Don't you dare threaten to tickle me, or you and the soles of your beautiful bare feet will be very, very sorry" Ross said in a menacing tone.
Ross got into bed, let out a long sigh, and Kayley put her head on his chest.
"Okay, all joking aside, oil man, was that Baby Timmy?" Kayley said.
"Who else would bother me at this hour?" Ross said.
"What did he want?" Kayley asked.
"Timothy said that Tiffany left him, and that he wants to talk about financial matters. I'm guessing that Ms Tiffany got fed up with Mister Patrick's fucking around, and I do not mean with women" Ross said.
Ross and Kayley drifted off to sleep. The next morning, the alarm woke Kayley at 630 am. Ross was sound asleep. When Ross stirred awake, Kayley kissed Ross and asked him.
"What time are you planning on going in, and what time will you be home?" Kayley asked.
"Ah, teacher, not to, but I thought we agreed that you would not keep me on a time clock. I dont have the answers to those questions yet. I am guessing I am shooting to leave here at 9, get to the office at 10, leave there at 6 , and will be home by 7, is that reasonable enough?" Ross asked.
Kayley kissed Ross. "Yes,. market boy most reasonable" Kayley said.
Ross sighed. "I just had such a wonderful time in OKC, we had a wonderful night last night, and now I feel like I;m headed into the war zone" Ross said.
"Honey, if Tim tells you that Tiffany and Tim are finished, please just listen, and the only advice I would offer him is financial, and a name of a lawyer because you are his business manager. Please stay out of it. Your only concerns are you, us, RossShell, Fritz, Steve, and the oil and gas and other projects with them" Kayley said.
"I can't help it, Kale, I am just irritated. You do know that both Fritz and Steve, and other people I know, have told me to tell Timothy to go fuck himself. I dont want to do that. We both know that he has not been as bad since things in OKC and other places have been exploding. I'm going to try to be supportive and decent, depending on what he says" Ross said.
"Ross, just see what he has to say. Take care, and have a good day" Kayley said, kissing Ross goodbye.
Ross put on slacks and a shirt, went to the office, and called Tim.
"Okay, I got your message. So what is going on?" Ross said evenly.
"Tiffany found out about a deal that is likely to go belly up, and another one I did not tell her about. She blew her stack, packed up, and walked out of the apartment" Tim said.
"I'm sorry , how can I help?" Ross said.
"We need to talk, as best friends, business associates, I need to know what lawyer you might know" Tim said.
"Okay, Shun Lee, 1230. Tim, maybe Tiffany is just angry. She might calm down and come back" Ross said.
"I dont think so this time. Oh, and if she calls you"
"I know, I will politely tell her that I represent you, that I cannot talk to her, and that if she does want to hire counsel, we can only talk via third parties" Ross said.
"Good, see you later" Tim said.
Ross went to his outer office, and let out a huge sigh.
"Sounds like you are not too happy to be back from OKC, Ross" Victor said.
"Except to see Kayley, and to see and talk to you , Vic, not really" Ross said.
Ross piddled at work through the morning, looking at potential very small companies that he might be able to buy with people so as not to "Rock The Boat" and to keep his promise to Kayley to keep RossShell managable.
At noon, Ross left the office, headed to Shun Lee, and met Tim.
"Ross, I need help" Tim said.
"Well, I'm not a shrink, but, maybe she will calm down. I think that Tiffany might have been most upset about the betrayal than the money" Ross said.
"Ross, we both know that Tiffany is not Kayley. Kayley , except if you lie to her about something big, oh and the time you fucked around with a beautiful blonde from the Southwest, will get upset for a short time if you take too many chances or mess up in business, but Kayley's teaching career has taught her to keep a level head. Tiffany is more, emotional, she sometimes does not see straight. She will lose her cool, and then I will never hear the end of it" Tim said.,
"Tim, I have an idea. Sell the company you still have for whatever you can get for it to save face, and as for the deal that might go belly up, apologize, tell her you made a terrible mistake, and that you will make it up to her" Ross said.
"Tiffany's sister hates me. She thinks I'm the Devil. Not like Sarah and Kathy who really like you. Kayley's family has never caused trouble for you. Tiffany's sister Julie would just love to have reason to tell Tiffany to hang me for good" Tim said.
Ross sighed. "Okay, calm down, I will see what I can do"
"Will you be present this week?" Tim asked.'
"Yes, I have to , or I will be joining you in marriage trouble. Kayley has been very understanding as these new deals have been popping up. I do not want to try her patience. Since we got back together after the you know what mistake I made, Kayley and I have been getting along very well. I would rather have my wife tell me how much she loves me, than cursing me out, and telling me her plans to run me over the coals in court. " Ross said
Ross worked in the office through that day, and got home. Kayley could see Ross was upset. "Okay, I know that look. Please tell the teacher all of your concerns" Kayley said, kissing Ross.
Ross sighed. "Kale, Tim told me that he had a deal go bad, and apparently lied to Tiffany or did not tell her about another deal that she later found out about it. Tiffany is furious, Tim says he thinks she is going to leave him. I think Tim is more worried about the money than losing his wife" Ross said.
"Unlike you, who no matter how much money you had, could not live without me" Kayley said.
Ross kissed Kayley. "I dont plan to. I've learned my lessons" Ross said.
"Ross, please, whatever you do, please do not buy any companies that Tim might sell" Kayley said.
"Kale, we've discussed this. RossShell stays as it. is., I am allowed to buy tiny companies worth less than ten million dollars to have something to do with my time, here in New York, and then turn around, hire controllers, try to sell them if I can, and if not, let the controllers run them. My priorities are you, and anything I do with Fritz and Steve,. By the time Tiffany gets finished with Tim, if she does decide to divorce him, there might not be a Tim Patrick for me to represent" Ross said.
"As long as you live up to your end of the bargain about our marriage, work, and the oil and gas, teacher will say nothing, and you will get this body as often as you want. Nothing is making me happier than being husband and wife, lovers, and best friends again. It has been so wonderful since we are back together" Kayley said.
That week, as Ross spent time in the office, with Kayley, and to plan next about what would happen with Fritz and Steve, things were looking very bleak for Tiffany and Tim. Tim reported a couple of days later than Tiffany and Tim had tried to have dinner to resolve their differences, and that Tiffany blew up at Tim again, threw a drink in Tim's face in an eating place, and Tiffany then stormed out.
As the weekend approached,. Fritz called Ross to discuss another OKC trip.
"Ross, something good happened. The people from Anchorage understand your health issues, and have agreed to come to OKC to meet us. After we figure out the numbers, if we can come to a deal to figure out investors, I can then get a friend of mine to fly up there and get all the details, so that you, Steve and I dont have to go there, and all he will ask for is a fee percentage wise. Trust me, it will be worth the time and money" Fritz said.
"Okay, so when can we meet with this guy?" Ross asked.
"Please come down Tuesday morning. You can get out of here by Thursday. If we can pull this off, then all is in place until John gets the investors together, and brings in those wells. Trust me we are right on track, and Steve and I have some other ideas too" Fritz said.

Ross said.
Ross went through the weekend, and planned to leave for OKC on Tuesday.
In the meantime, that Saturday, Tim contacted Ross to say that he had heard through a "Reliable Source" that Tiffany was going to serve Tim with divorce papers soon.
Tim's troubles continued, as on Monday, a process server appeared at Tim's office, and handed Tim divorce papers. Tim tried to call Tiffany to air things out, and Tiffany screamed. "Call My Lawyer, You Son Of A Bitch!" and slammed the phone.
When Ross got home that night, he kissed Kayley and told her the news.
"Kale., Tiffany served Tim with Divorce Papers today, and Tim told me that Tiffany blew up at him when he tried to call her to talk. It might well be the end of the mega businessman Timothy Patrick" Ross said.
"Even though I get pissed at Tim for the way he treats you sometimes, Ross. I truly feel empathy for them. They have been married for two decades. I think that Tiffany finally got fed up about Tim's seeming need to have every company on the planet. As bad as you used to be, all you did is to keep trying to build one company out of control. Then, when faced with a decision, you chose our marriage over RossShell, and decided you love oil and gas more, which is fine, and just want to have a small company to have something to do with your time, and buy tiny companies to play around with" Kayley said.
Ross felt very troubled that night. Kayley tried to approach Ross to make love, but Ross politely asked for a raincheck, Kayley understood, and they just lied and held each other.
When they awakened the next morning, Kayley said.
"Baby, just please go and do your usual business in OKC. This is your love, so go for it. Whatever happens with Mister Patrick, I think that you can still have a RossShell in some form with the new tiny companies you are getting, even if Mister Patrick goes under. For now, you are most importantly, my husband, and an oil and gas company and well owner , okay?" Kayley said.

Ross got into an Uber, went to the airport, got on the plane to DFW, tried to rest, and then changed to go to OKC
When Ross landed in OKC, he took an Uber to the office to meet Fritz, Steve, and to discuss and do business.
Would this be a usual trip, or would there be more positive, or negative surprises?
Those questions remained to be seen.
