Good Evening Folks,

I had a board game when i was a kid, it took place in outer space and the pieces were clear plastic ships and satellite pods of different colors. Now what made this game unique was a black plastic hub that had a light inside it. You could spin the light around to fire out and light up an opponent's pod (thus destroying it in gameplay). The game was lots of fun but i have one problem, i can't remember the name of it! Yeah I know it's an obscure thing, but if anyone can help me remember the title of the game i'd appreciate it.

I know how you feel. There are certain old games from childhood that I remember vividly but cannot remember the name. I hope you find the name. I think I know what you're talking about, but I'm at a loss also.

I have a request, though.

Does anyone know the name of that board game that was like Dragon Strike (Dragon Strike I have, and its the one that uses miniatures and D&D elements and it came with a VHS video telling the story and also demostrating how its played)?

It had this one piece, the guy had like a pig-man kind of face, and a whip, and he had wings too and he was on the box cover as well. He was like the main bad-guy piece. And the object was to go around and collect treasure or something. The board looked like a maze with rooms. I remember it well because my friend had the game and I remember playing it at least once at his house.

Theres also this other game that I don't know much else about it, other than its like a fantasy style game with pieces like in Dragon Strike. I never bought or played the game, but I saw it at a store and the box was huge. So either it had alot of pieces, a big board, or both. I think I remember seeing like an orge or giant on the box cover and it was sort of like two armies lined about about to clash. Thats what I remember the box cover looking like.

This is frustrating! I really want to know what these old games were, so I can look them up and see if I can't get pictures of them or maybe even find them for purchase online somewhere. This is really doubtful though, since it was a long time ago...

EDIT:

Maybe this was what I was talking about for the last game I mentinoed, but I don't think so. It seem similar, but I remember it differently. This one seems way too recent.

Also theres plenty of boardgame sites out there. I suggest you look on them to see if you can find your game.
