Bondage advice needed please :)

Hello everyone.

My girlfriend is coming to stay with me in a few weeks and I need bondage advice. We are planning to get a bondage kit from Ann Summers the day after she arrives. However, my bed isn't very good for bondage- it has a good bondage headboard but tying the feet will be very difficult on it. I was just wondering how I could overcome this problem- providing secure bondage without attaching it to the bed. Another problem is I am not a great fan of the hogtie so that isn't going to be an option either.

How can I tie her up?

Almost any bed will let you tie someone to it, even if it doesn't have legs. Try underneath it, there's probably a visible frame that will have bars that you can tie ropes too.

If that doesn't work, you can create loops and hooks them over the corners of the mattress depending on how much room you end up having.

Worst case scenario, once in a pinch I cut holes in the fabric of the frame (not the mattress, the thing that goes under it) and there was a sturdy wood framework inside it that I was able to tie rope to.

In what way will it be difficult to tie her feet? Understanding the problem makes for easier solutions.

Do you have any preferences for positioning?

At the other end of the bed there isn't a board or wheels or anything and under my bed there is a drawer so I don't think I can attach anything to that.

I like spread eagle best or arms together above head and feet together.

Frankly, I'd advise against getting any of Ann Summers' bondage stuff. It's pretty much made of chicken wire, and breaks far too easily.

I have one of those under-the-bed restraint systems, that wraps around any mattress and/or bedframe.

So far it's worked out pretty well, the cuffs are better than the ones you get at Ann Summers (though not infalliable, I'd advise getting some leather cuffs to replace the velcro ones they come with).

I see. It sounds as though your bed basically sits on a platform, beneath which is the drawer you mentioned. Can you attach eyebolts or cleats to the platform?

I'm not comfortable buying things like that from the internet. I live with my parents and they don't know about my kinks. If I got something like that through the post they would flip. Is Ann Summers stuff really that bad? Its like what you suggested what I'm thinking of getting so would that be ok?

We got ours at a local porn shop -- I don't know anything about Ann Summers -- but I imagine the type of thing we have wouldn't be too hard to find...wasn't for us.

It's not complicated. You can get rope cleats at most hardware stores and any boating supply shop. They attach with two screws each. The only question is whether the wood of your bed platform is sturdy enough to hold them.

I'm afraid your other options are limited. You can get an underbed restraint system such as Skippy described. You might be able to make one yourself out of rope, but that would be considerably more complicated than attaching cleats.

You could buy or make a spreader bar - but I gather that you don't like ordering such things through the mail and you wouldn't want to go the DIY route.

Or you can tie your girl's wrists to the headboard and then tie her ankles together but leave them unattached to anything.

Those are your choices.

The link to the site I posted earlier on offer an extremely nondescript service. I was a little worried about my housemates asking questions, but it arrived in a small jiffy bag with a "fake" company name, as though it was something from amazon or the like. No problems.

Failing getting it off the internet, try your local sex shop. They'll almost certainly have it in there, though it'll probably be a wee bit more expensive.

Those "under-the-bed" systems work pretty well for ease of use -- I've got one, too... I'm looking to reduce mobility a little more, however, and am looking at a "Bedspread" unit from "Rachel's Pleasures". It's two straps that form loops around any mattress, and have places for the cuffs along the straps... It looks as though it limits both medial and lateral movement, whereas the "under-the-bed" thing is usually better at reducing just medial movement unless it's put on really tight, or in an unusual fashion -- which isn't always desirable.

lie the person on their back on the bed, arms out streached tie each wrist to a mop or broom handle ,(could use floor) so we have them arms out streached like wings fastened to the bar. spread legs as wide as possible,tie each ankle to the wrist. their spread eagled and you can tickle. but make sure there is a safe word for stop, they are ok allowing it and you have consent,and they are reasonably comfortable.good tickling.

Adding onto that, I've gone one step further than this by stretching the loose end of the rope from around the girl's ankles and fastened it to a free weight on the floor. Something heavy enough obviously.

That worked.

In the past when I have used scarves or neck ties as restraints I would put one end of the restraint between the box spring and the bed frame. The weight of the box spring and matress was enough to hold it secure.

I'm not clear on how you run a rope over and under a matress in such a way as to get rope at all four corners of the bed.

Another thing you could try, which isn't a spread eagle, is mummification.

Get some saran wrap (the stretch tite brand works great) and warp her up. You can tickle through the wrap or cut holes in the wrap for better access. If you sit on her legs, you should really be able to get her feet really good. Also, with the arms wrapped to her side, you can really tickle her face.

In warmer weather, I would recommend a hike, some stakes and some rope. There is nothing like being staked outside and tickled. However, this time of year the frost bite would be worse than the tickling.
