Boy on lifesupport after saving girl

6-year-old Donnie Hauser-Richerme is a hero. He and Karah Moran, 5, were exploring the apartment complex where their families resided when Karah fell into the unused swimming pool. She was struggling to get out of the deep end which was filled with debris and murky water but kept slipping. Donnie jumped into the other end to pull Karah out, but in the process, fell into the water. With the boy's help, Karah was able to reach the ladder but Donnie slipped underwater. By the time paramedics found him, he had been underwater between five to 20 minutes. Donnie is currently in critical condition at Christ Medical Center in Chicago Ridge, Illinois
