Crennel fired, Mangini fired, and Weis' team stunk it up. I hope their main reason for going after him isn't the success he had in New England. Those other coaches have proven that the Belichick is constant in their success. I hope he does well though.

You are quite correct on Kiffin..and this hire makes no sense. The rising star of the Broncos coaching staff is Jeremy Bates, 32 years old, essentially the Josh McDaniels of Denver and he's inked there for another 3 seasons. Bates is tight with Cutler and Cutler was pissed when they let Shanahan go, he'd be even more pissed if Bates walked.

I hope Josh does well out there and I think he has a good chance to, but I think Cleveland would have been a better fit for him in the long run.

couldnt have said it any better.. i think this hire was a mistake especially because he is a coach who will bring a pass first philosophy and denver is traditonally a running team

The Broncs have one of the WORST Defenses in the history of the NFL, ever.

And they sign a 32 year old Offensive Coordinator?

Brilliant.

I expect alot of shootouts for them next year.

And another 8-8 season... at best.
