C.A.B. Presents ~ Varny
Liner notes: With all the projects I currently have spinning in the air like dishes on poles, the last thing I had time for was a new endeavor. Unfortunately, the creative drive is a cruel mistress and once a fancy pops into one's head, there is little else to do but obey. So it was with Varny.
I was musing one day about how men age, and deal with aging. More specifically, how a fetishist is affected by the rolling years. Speaking for myself, I can say that my fetiigistical penchants have not diminished since my randy youth. Quite conversely, I would say my appreciation for deviancy has grown and refined; matured in complexity like an aged cask of cognac. But when youth, vigor, and opportunity are no longer your allies, this presents a quandary.
So I thought it would be a funny to examine an old fetishist. And what struck me more absurd is what could possibly be a better example of an old fetishist than a vampire? Doomed to exist forever, with lifetimes of memories of sexual encounters and conquests,. But hounded and bedeviled by an insatiable fetish drive not conducive to one's current condition. An eternity of mundane days witnessing one's self fade to a shadow of former glory. And, on occasion, chasing after what was. To relive, if only for a sweet moment, the virile creature of the night that one once was.
The name "Varny" is an homage to the original pulp penny dreadful serial "Varney the Vampire" published in 1847.
To the forum member that guessed that correctly from the teaser poster, "Give that man a prize."
