Calling all writers and artists!

We are now accepting submissions to be published in the NEST2019 booklet! Submit your tickling-related artwork and stories for a chance to be printed in the booklet, which is distributed to the 200+ NEST attendees! All work should be your own, and stories should have correct spelling and grammar.

You are not required to attend NEST in order to participate. Simply send your own original work to leeallure (at) gmail (dot) com along with the name you'd like to be used for credit. For stories, pdf format is preferred. For artwork, jpeg, png, or pdf is preferred. If you have questions, please feel free to post them here!

I guess this is a rather ignorant question... but since I really don't know anything about it I thought I'd ask. Is there a place where it outlines, in a little more detail, what you are talking about? I know what NEST is (most likely isn't something I'd be able to participate in, but I do know some people from this forum that have), and I do enjoy writing and illustrating tickling-related stories, but I'm not exactly familiar with the NEST booklet or what kind of stuff goes in there. I don't even know that I'd have time to put together something that meets the quality standards you are looking for, but I'm interested in learning more about it.

I know, not a very specific question...
 
Hi there, I'm happy to answer as best I can! The NEST booklet is a full-color printout that we give to every attendee. It outlines a schedule for the weekend (as NEST approaches 300 attendees, we have a convention-style schedule with classes and lots of activities). We have plenty of space for a few stories and some artwork so that we can showcase a few artists and authors from the tickling community. I hope this kind of answers your question. As far as quality, we're just looking for original (as in your own, it doesn't have to be made especially for NEST, other folks in the past have submitted work they've already done).
